I never did any of the multiplayer stuff on XCOM or XCOM 2. OTOH, it was fun watching some of the experts do it on Youtube.

Sissyl - I don't really know what to say. I just hope his passing was as easy as it could be.
I don't play PvP because I hate losing; I don't play PvP because PvP players are universally toxic. I play games to relax and enjoy myself, not to remind myself of just how bad the lowest dregs of humanity are.
I will try to remember that myself the next time I get angry and want to PvP...I refrained from doing it the last time - because I think it makes me no better then the other guy, but god d@mn it's hard to do.
Again I am probably a kitten compared to all of you guys so I think I'm still rather hotblooded.

Been feeling a bit puny last couple days. I may have acquired what was ailing my father this past week.
But, I have been hard at the nerdery! I built Givins (and Defel) as a playable race today. My equipment/economy work for that SWEU PbP has been hit with an epic-level hydrospanner, though, 'cause I can't math. Hate math. Hate it!!
Even worked up Shistavanen, but those dudes are monstrous strong. Literally.
Tried to use the Starfinder SRD, and it froze my phone. Too bad.
Need to see if I can stand to eat something . . . . And then go back to that "galaxy far, far away".

Mom. Fourth bout of breast cancer. This time it is in the right lung. Her white blood count is down, she has been running an on again, off again fever for two weeks, she has been coughing a lot, and she was dehydrated. They put her in the hospital to see what is wrong with her (beyond the cancer). She finished up radiation treatment and is halfway through chemotherapy.

Of course the wife is in New Orleans with her Grandmother (who raised her). Her Grandmother is 93 years old and fell, fracturing her back in four places. She is too old for surgery, so they are using drugs for the pain.

Only kids would find the death of a 27 inch tv to be cause for celebration. :-)
Crookshanks is excited to be able to take it school to dissect, Tiny T-Rex is excited because of novelty of playing Minecraft on our 13 inch TV.
We got it off the curb four years ago so not a huge loss, I was more disappointed I'd have to pay the haul away fee, but if Crookshanks is taking it to school, then I shouldn't have to worry about that.

(2) Curb TVs are the best TVs. Impus Minor found a 27" "Planar" monitor sitting by the curb a few months ago (I'd never heard of 'em before), and now that Impus Major is doing major document editing for his schoolwork, I've got it set up as his second monitor.
(3) Unfortunately, it's a good thing I canceled today's game. Other than bizarrely waking up at 3:30 am (stoopid Daylight Savings Time! My body still hasn't readjusted) and being relatively weak and easily-tired, I'm not TOO bad. I don't think it would be good for me to run, considering moving around the house gets me out of breath, but at least I'm better. Unfortunately, as always happens, NobodysWife picked up the bug after I'd let it mutate for a while, so it's really hammering her. I think she'll be bedridden for the day, and Skull & Shackles tomorrow is now in doubt.
That would make it 4 canceled games in a single week. Ouch!
