Blerghy blergh blergh blerghumph.

Every time there's a drastic weather change, my sinus acts up. This time, I think I got a cold or flu because my body feels warm, but I'm shivering and my temperature is like 95'ish F. Couldn't even enjoy my malts yesterday while watching March Madness (but it made the day more affordable after the upcoming debacle that will be paying for the speeding ticket I received yesterday morning). Then we went and caught the lady's favorite covers band from her home town, but we called it early as she had to go to work this morning. It was a Benadryl night (some of you knows that it does silly things to us drow), but I couldn't manage to stay asleep and she said I was coughing and sneezing and hacking all night.

And tonight's a concert. And I'm going to suffer for it.

Blerghy. A shot of 151 would clean that out much better, but I'll get the death glare shot from 500' yards via sniper scope if I dance that line. :P

*clicks tongue*

I hate basketball

I hate March

I hate psychotic people complaining about basketball in March.

I hate the HD channel that should show the basketballs games in March mysteriously just disappearing.

I love Spring break.

I love that I have taken Spring break off to be with the kids.

I love Fridays.

I love Fridays which are my last day before Spring Break.

I'm living the NCAA Tournament dream, since the games in Charlotte are right across the street from where I park. By dream, I mean nightmare. A lot of people succumb to Cranial-Anus Syndrome during this time of year, apparently. On the plus side, there were a lot of people drinking at 9 AM. Oh wait...

Actually, it's this time of year that I only watch basketball. It is where it's at its most competitive. That and it's one of the few times I reconnect with old friends in person that I haven't seen in awhile.

That said ... the interesting thing about yesterday is that it's the holiday where everyone wants to pretend to be Irish ... except for the Irish ... they're pretending to be sober.

Ha!

EDIT: now that would make a good FB status ....

Hope everyone is well. My attempts to run a game for the nephews and finish up Spring Break stuff have been complicated by Back Pain. The interruption to explaining Puffin's Wrongness to him is not quite as unwelcome as the Pain. Hope everyone is well. Let me know if I missed anything.

Also: Test Pie.

Can we have Test Cheesecake, too? I'd like to double down.

Well, Thomas decided to take a boat and go visit his good friend Theodore, unware that one of his old enemies from the war was tracking him. Meanwhile, Rick was having problems down at the club, mostly brought on by his past connections with several noted figures from the criminal underworld. And, across town at the estate, Jonathan was attemtpting to teach his dogs how to....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

I sipped a drink with a 151 float once. Once was enough. As soon as my lip touched the surface, the 151 crawled up my face and dissolved it. That's what it felt like, anyway. Glad I'm not a smoker.

Oh My God!!!

I love corn beef brisket, I'd eat it every day if I could. Corn beef brisket, cabbage, potatoes, and beer. *drool* The Irish are awesome for coming up with that, AWESOME I say!!!

I had some yesterday (except for the beer), and I must agree. The bar boiled their potatoes then tossed them with a butter, garlic, and rosemary concoction, so there was one seasoned dish along with the cabbage and corned beef. Then the beef got the horseradish and mustard treatment. Heaven!

Ummmm....no. I really don't like bacon. I think it smells good, but when I try to eat it, blech. I always end up spitting it out. Sometimes I can deal with it if it's hidden in a dish and the flavor isn't super obvious, but it still kinda diminishes my enjoyment of the food.

*sigh* I know, I know. Crazy talk. I've tried to convince my tastebuds they're wrong, but they aren't listening.

That's kinda the way I am with "bacon rinds". They small great and empart great flavor, espacially to ham'n'beans. But they have the texture of extra fatty fat. The texture just doesn't work for me.

Nope, still don't like it. I don't even like it in chocolate. I just don't like bacon. :(

Would you really want to post something like that here? Sadly, it'd be like ringing the troll dinner bell.

That sounds super cool. I'm not really much help with mechanics type stuff, though.

You want mechanics?

I thought they just wanted curses, like "You, sir, are a puddle-jumping baboon-felcher!"

Reminds me of this thread that I put out there ... wow ... 3 and a half years ago. (Has it really been that long ago?)

I'd put it in the 3.5 area. There seem to be fewer trolls there nowadays...
