I should've said fried or drowned in cheese, also I shouldn't have been so unreasonable, I have a standing policy of trying everything with an open mind at least once.
Consider my previous post retracted, and my apologies to Kileanna, that was rude of me.
No need to apologize, but you have to try the octopus if you want to get me into a good mood!
Just kidding.
And I absolutely love barnacles, if they weren't soo expensive... I just cannot afford them. I ate them only when they gifted some to one of my uncles.

G'morning!
Party is over, it was a success, I am still exhausted.
And I managed to break the ball whisk attachment to my landlord's stand mixer yesterday. And then the smaller whisk attachment to his hand mixer.
And because he thought it was funny, he's not irritated. (I'm the only one who uses them.)
So I tried to make vanilla mint buttercream, and it was terrible.
Like, you know those awful cream cheese mints that people's grandmothers set out in the parlor for company?
Worse. So much worse.
So I threw it out.
And decided to go with a much more sensible Kahlua buttercream instead.
But I had used the last of the butter in my fridge, so the only butter left in the house was in my landlord's deep freeze, so I grabbed half a pound and threw it in the microwave for a minute to defrost it first, but...
Yeah.
But it saved the cake.

Hands down, no questions, no reservations, best game of the whole series. The story is fascinating, the controls are absurdly easy and well designed, the art is gorgeous THE WHOLE TIME YOU PLAY IT!! And to top it all off, they used the oft-mocked trope of memory loss perfectly.
The Switch is worth it for this game ALONE. if the skyrim controls are half as good on this console I'll stop using my computer for that game. Not even joking right now, nintendo hyped it, and it was totes deserved.

Just a comic book, cartoon, and role playing game I used to read, watch, and play as a young lad.
It was fairly obscure (especially where we lived) so you might not have heard of it.
I was being facetious.
I am a Macross/Southern Cross/Mospeada supremacist.
I have a host of horrible Carl Macek jokes.
While I respect the role the show played in my youth, I consider robotech an abomination.
There is also a new Robotech comic on comixology you may want to read. It is based on Macek's cough Original Vision cough bullshit dubbie censored rewrite nonsense cough cough cough, and quite affordable, please read it.

That is okay, I doubt it has aged well.
Truth be told, all my comic books were handed down (or sideways, as we are the exact same age) from a cousin.
We were super poor, so I never got to pick out my own comic books, and had to rely on libraries, or the kindness of relatives.

Really! That's cool!
We're in Madison.
I sadly also have family in Janesville.
This guy isn't that close.
I'm in IL, but only about 3 hours from Madison.

Were you using peppermint extract? Because I often find using peppermint oil makes the difference between tasting like stale buttermints or tasting like York peppermint patties. Peppermint extract is no good for anything really. At least in my opinion :)

Ah. That would explain it. And I'm never using that crap again.

Well, we had a great Skull & Shackles session this afternoon, meaning that NobodysWife is recovering. But it does lead to the question: What's the record number of deaths by a single PC in a single fight?
Trevor was 2 deaths in 2 rounds, and still finished off the fight after coming towards death #3.
So, just how many times CAN you raise one person in a single combat?
Story time!!!

Well, I did once have a character who died in the first round, was raised during the combat, died on the next to last round, and then brought back as an undead. I don't remember what is was called. Some 3.5 lich-esque critter, but a fighter instead of a spellcaster.

I've got Macross Plus. It's a good story.
I also like Macross Plus. I have the 4-part OVA and the movie version both on DVD. I had Macross 2 on VHS, but got rid of it when my last VCR decided to commit suicide by strangling itself on the tape. I watched a good part of Macross 7 back in the day by downloading fansubs off the net. I thought it was good, but because I couldn't get every episode, I missed quite a bit. Never got a chance to see Macross Zero or Macross Frontier.

It's almost certainly a death knight, based on the description.

i.e. immediately after NH asked, "how many times CAN you raise one person in a single combat? Story time!!!" (indicating that people should share their stories), you posted, "169 this time" making it look like you're answering his question* with an absurdly high number (considering said combat would have to last 169 rounds, at minimum, for such a feat, without rather ridiculous contrivances; not to mention how absurdly costly that would be). Hence, "show off."
* You were not doing this thing; instead, you were indicating how many posts since you've last read this thread.

My dude, I slept for, like, 12+ hours yesterday.
I may have been fighting something off (success as of yet unknown), but daggum. I just wiped out, pretty much anywhere.
Feeling better today?
