Ran the first part of my Demon Hunters game tonight. It went well, I think. We had lots of laughs, some good roleplay, and even managed to squeeze in a quick fight at the end of the session. They didn't get very far in the investigation, however, so I'm going to have to activate some of my contingency plans to help them along in order to finish up next week.

- Special spoon for eating grapefruit? Bloody luxury. We 'ad to go out to t'dung'eap, get t'trowel for t'dung and use that, even when it were 20 below outside.
- You 'ad a trowel? Southern ponce. We 'ad to use us teeth. Us next door neighbours were right posh, and they 'ad two sets, one for t'dung and one for t'grapefruits.
- We didn't even 'ave grapefruits. Eee, life were sparse. We 'ad to make do wi' tennis balls filled wi' Frosty Jack cider.
- And by gum, were we envious of those swanky folk down t'road who 'ad dung. Us excretions were taken by t'payday loan company as soon as they came out and sold to constipated rich bastards in Singapore.
- You soft bastard, etc. etc.

Is it a morning to be good on?
Or a morning that is good?
Or is a morning that makes you feel good?
Or even, it could be a morning filled with good things.
...
please mark your answer with a number two quill, and if you wish to change said answer, please erase the formerly filled in circle completely before filling in another circle, otherwise, your answer will be incorrect!

So, earlier today, when I was looking up "bishonen" to make sure I (more or less) spelled it right, - shut it, I've got my reasons, you don't even know - I stumbled across this. That's... surreal. XD
how could you be into final fantasy tactics and NOT know what bishonen is? Thats impossible! Do you have any idea how much yaoi I had to sift through to get fft backgrounds?
A lot! That's how much!

Do you know what the world needs now?
What the world needs now is tactical sporks, sweet tactical sporks.
'Not recommended to be put in your kids' lunchboxes, because of 'SECURITY' and the 'RULES' some schools have about knives'
Yyyyyeeeesssssss...

As it is, I'm way more into foons! since they do a better job as both fork and spoon, whereas a spork does a poor job as either of them.Yyyyyyeeeeesssss...

I really wish I could remember the comedian's name, but one of his big skits was "SPORK!! Confuse your food!"

Ah, late September is coming early this year!
The Bay Area is rather infamous for being frigid through July and August (July typically has a couple of weeks with highs in the 50's), then slowly warming over September until late September/early October we get our "one week a year" of 90+ temperatures.
So... this weekend it's supposed to hit 115 in Pleasanton, just 30 miles east of us. I wasn't particularly worried; it's over the "Coastal Range" (a smattering of hills with a delusion of being mountains) and we're usually insulated from such nonsense.
Well, this afternoon it hit *gasp* 84, which is really pretty unheard-of for us except during our "Indian Summer". So it looks like we're going to get a taste of that 115-degree weather. I doubt it'll break 100; it's only done that a handful of times in my lifetime. But now I'm looking pretty smart for leaving our portable AC unit sitting in the living room unused all summer...

Just in case there was any confusion, when I earlier said that "We got evicted from our hole in the ground", I was playing along with the joke that Limey/Four Yorkshiremen had started. It's from an old Monty Python skit.
I just assumed that everyone else got the reference and were pretending that they didn't and offering sympathy because it was so much funnier that way.
In retrospect, it's probably a very good thing that Fawtl doesn't have a "haha" button like Facebook does, or everyone would think I'm a massive a--h---.

Next I suppose you'll tell me Freehold doesn't actually want me to visit, Tacticslion has been giving me wrong addresses on purpose, and that's not really Sharoth camping out on our couch. :-(
I'm also not the rodent on the wheel, in the cage, that sits on your counter top...

Similarly, I thought people were playing along, but then I decided that I should clarify just in case.

I thought you were the one running in the wheel in my head. That way I could blame you when I wasn't thinking well.

I'm not that one either.
That's Todd's former pet, Fred.He became a ghost hamster after getting infused with abyssal soul-grubs. He's "mostly" harmless.

So, I just found out that there is a board game based off Jim Henson's Labyrinth, as well as a Goblin expansion. I almost want to buy them just for the figures, and if the game is any good consider it a bonus.
