Slight correction, it's called Farty Franny, and apparently everyone gathers around the cow in a circle until it farts on someone and everyone laughs exaggeratedly.

At least according to the picture on the box.

Something seems oddly fitting about the best way to get from San Francisco to Tiburon for my university's Marine GIS class at the super special marine research center that's in a place convenient to NOBODY being a ferry boat. Because of course I should take a boat to the ocean geography class.

Well, a boat and then an Uber.

Discussing potential characters for one of my soon-to-be players, he accidentally typed "asamurai". So I said "An Aasimar Samurai? Sure!" He replied with "No AssSamurai. Kind of like an Asian ButtPirate."

Isn't that just a regular Saturday night in Wisconsin?

Not exactly.

There is no mirth when an actual cow farts.

Especially since you have approximately 4 seconds until it shits.

You know, I wouldn't really be that surprised.

I don't know Starfinder, so I can't suggest a race/class, but I've always liked the name Jiggleitalittleitllopen.

He needs to also have a maaaaassive chip on his tiny shoulder when people inevitably call him a "hamster"...

Good night! Feel better, cap!

Okay, I know Tudor people were no dumber than modern people, and all the weird, nonsensical medical care existed because modern scientific understanding didn't spring out of a vacuum, but still. Who in their right mind hears the words "Let's bend that sick guy over and pour mercury up his ass", and doesn't immediately suspect that this may in fact be a bad idea?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Well, let's see. Umm ... people who didn't understand that mercury was a poison?

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Just because something is a poison, doesn't mean it has any business going up my ass. I generally expect my medical practitioners to understand this.

I know. I was being facetious.

Well... let's see. Someone has syphilis. Before penicillin, there are ZERO documented cases of patients getting well from it. Assume you are a doctor back then, and the patient stands to become insane when tertiary syphilis comes around. Tell me... what WOULDN'T you try? Add to this that some doctors report getting some results with mercury treatments.

Yep, getting ready for work.

I wonder what new toys we'll be getting in this week!

Last week it was all Lego advent calendars and shopkins.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Working at a toy store seems like a job with a lot of ups and downs.
I remember reading an article some years ago that said toys r us was the worst place to work even worse then target and Walmart.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I like it.

I don't get paid for shit, but the managers are all nice, and because I'm more than willing to do all the heavy lifting I get to do or work pretty much whenever or whatever I want.

Brute Squad are the rockstars there.

Sometimes, freedom is just important as money (especially when it's only part time).

Edit: it's certainly better than Walmart and Target.

My dad worked at Walmart and I have a neighbor that worked at Target, and the stories they'd tell... Yeesh!

Break time!

Spent the morning so far putting power wheels and bikes away.

New items so far.

New neon colored Huffy scooters and new hoverboards (which aren't technically hoverboards).

I was about to say HOVER BOARDS!

You don't know about hoverboards! You'll break your neck and then it'll burn down your house or garage when the battery catches fire when you try to charge it.

All for around 300 dollars.

It's the perfect Christmas present!
