Hey, it's warmer here than in Lithuania.
I don't handle warmer than here in early Autumn well anyway. Even local summers tend to be tedious.

Super-fair!
Naked, but fair!
Probably because Catherine took all your stuff...

And now, from another thread:
Question of the day: if you could *BOOP!* replace a bad guy with yourself, from a video game, a book, a play, an RPG, a computer game, a television series, or a movie (or different ones from each), who would it be, why, and how would that impact the narrative (if any)?
You keep your favorite features of yourself and/or them while retaining the full knowledge, skills, powers, and abilities of you both; for example, you could, if you so desired, seemlessly replace them with yourself and just take over their organization with no one the wiser - or whatever); "you" are the personality in charge, and though you have free access to their memories, "you" (the person answering) are the "real" person. You retain your meta-information about the whatever it is.
... this is late enough that it'll be tomorrow's question, too... XD
Still question of the day...

I'm... an alchemist, apparently?

Whether secreted away in a smoky basement laboratory or gleefully experimenting in a well-respected school of magic, the alchemist is often regarded as being just as unstable, unpredictable, and dangerous as the concoctions he brews. While some creators of alchemical items content themselves with sedentary lives as merchants, providing tindertwigs and smokesticks, the true alchemist answers a deeper calling. Rather than cast magic like a spellcaster, the alchemist captures his own magic potential within liquids and extracts he creates, infusing his chemicals with virulent power to grant him impressive skill with poisons, explosives, and all manner of self-transformative magic.

Cardinal Richelieu.
Because a) I'd have my own Guards, and b), I'd get to be played by Peter Capaldi on teevee.
This would have interesting results, in that a rather stupid English (Protestant) Atheist would be at once head of the Catholic Church in France and in charge of that country's foreign policy, but more probably cannot be said on FaWtL, even though the flaming bicycle won't be invented for another 300 years or so. Maybe there's a flaming horse instead.

Eh, close enough.
Loads Myrtle into a catapult, readies the oil.
Horse and livestock were too long, alas. Also, it's technically not religious if no one knows who he is/was besides a future or past role of Martin Freeman or Benedict Cumberbatch.

My favorite example:
My sister was at her hairdresser's shortly after our dad died eight years ago, and was going into a lengthy story about the circumstances, and mentioned that it happened off the coast of Madagascar.Hairdresser: NO. WAY.
Sis: Yeah, I can still hardly believe it myself.
Hairdresser: I mean, I can't believe it at all.
Sis: Right?
Hairdresser: You mean, that's a real place? I thought they just made it up for the movie?

Random argument with Whingey Wizzard during last night's family gaming session. The party is beginning to clear the monastery of Saran Wrap in book one of Legacy of Fire. My daughter is up in arms because she's playing a cleric of Saran Wrap and has just discovered what the pugwampis did to the altar and Saran Wrap's holy book. She frowns and looks up at us.
Daughter: Hang on a minute. I know Kyra prays to Saran Wrap, and Valeros prays to Caden Caelian, but who does Ezren pray to?
Me: No one. He's an aetheist.
Whingey Wizzard: You can't be an atheist in Pathfinder. You know the gods exist.
Me: It says so right here on Ezren's character sheet. Atheist.
WW: But that's impossible.
Me: Well, like Granny Weatherwax says, just because you know the gods exist doesn't mean you have to go around believing in them. It just encourages them.
WW: ...
Me: Moving right along...
Thoughts? Comments? Musings? Can a pathfinder character with knowledge of the various deities and their actions be an atheist?

You can deliberately disregard the evidence, i.e. Cure Light Wounds and convenient domains, and choose to disbelieve in their existence, similar to Flat Earth-ers IRL. Or believe that such beings exist, but decide to categorise them as more than usually powerful demons or similar.
Anyway, what I wanted to say was, I always picture Whingey Wizzard as a cross between Roy Wood and Windy Miller
The former may mean something to Amerererericans; the latter, almost certainly not.

Interesting. "Wizzard" because that's how it's spelled on Rincewind's hat in the Discworld novels; "Whingey" because it's what he does. He's been most frequently described as a cross between Kenneth Branagh and Blackadder.

The way the devs describe "atheists" in Pathfinder is that they know that gods exist, as their influence is rather obvious, but they consider them just powerful spirits, not creators of the universe.
You can summon and bind extraplanar beings that grant wishes. That makes them pretty darned powerful. But it doesn't make them "gods". Just... powerful.

Reminds me of a discussion between two characters in a fantasy book (loosely recalling the fragment from memory and translating it on the fly)
Pseudo-European Knight: You seem to not know the difference between god(s) and devil(s)*...
Enlightened Pseudo-Eastern Asian: Oh, no, I know well that they are the same.
*or maybe demon(s), though I think that the Polish text used word for the devil

Yeah, pretty much. I imagine atheists in PF/D&D being a lot like severely jaded non-voters or conspiracy theorists in the real world: Of course politicians exist, it's just they're all lying cheats, they by definition have fundamentally different interests than we do, they're all part of the global new world order, etc..

NobodysWife is home sick in bed with a nasty cough, so we've got a "down day".
NobodysWife: I'm just going to lie in bed, nap a lot, drink lots of fluids, and, if I get enough strength, maybe play some Final Fantasy.
Impus Major and Impus Minor: We're going to play video games all day!
NobodysHome: Wow! A Sunday off! I think I'll do some laundry, finally get the living room closet cleared out, run some errands, and maybe frame the door in the garage...
