I used to have recurring dreams of riding in a 1950s Cadillac with a cartoon platypus, also had one where they government thought I was an alien but I wasn't but they never listened to me :-)
That last one I'm sure is because of all those episodes of Unsolved Mysteries, X-Files, Alf and 3rd Rock from the Sun :-)

My opinion on bonding relationships between humans and big cats is rather complex and I hate being lectured at on the matter.
(venting because I know somebody who likes to go into a lecture every time I post a video of a human cuddling with a lion, and all I can think is I LOVE YOU BUT YOU'RE NOT HELPING)
Like I don't even think the relationship between a human and a domestic cat should be thought of in terms of 'pet and owner' because the cat certainly doesn't think that way. Since the cat lacks the speculative ability to try to think like a human, in a relationship with a cat you should be thinking like a cat.

Now they tracked syrup all over the kitchen! C'mon!
i can't win today:-)
edit: i'm not really that mad, and with the pile of catching up i have to do (which i also don't mind, allergies happen) adding mopping the floor isn't that much harder to do:-D
Have you considered, just considered, training your kids to do some of the cleaning?

Seriously I wore shorts and a Hawaiian shirt to my own wedding :-)
A wedding gown, ridiculously nice too, this high end wedding store closed and donated all their unsold inventory to the thrift store where I worked and my super awesome boss sold it to my wife for 10 bucks, my dad officiated and found some canned old world Welsh ceremony, my wife's sister in law was a professional cake decorator so she did that for free and the bouquet was wild flowers we spent the morning picking on the side of the road, all in all we spent 100 bucks tops and had an awesome honeymoon :-)

Started classes for my professional exam in December there last night, requires an hour and a half bus right after work, three hour classes, then busing back. Not all that bad really, weekday evening means it won't interfere with weekends with the little one, and the bus journey actually gives me a chance to unwind.

Lost feel bad for making fun of some of the paizo complainers now....spend any amount of time on the destiny forums and you've got people up apparently hate everything about the game and yet they've got 1000+hours logged in...WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU YOU THAT YOU'D PUT THAT MUCH TIME INTO SOMETHING YOU HATE!!!!!
Also I'm greatly enjoying the game no complaints here.

Heh, Marvel Avenger Alliance forums are like this sometimes. "I hate that game!" "I ragequit!" "This game is so broken!"
Lord Of The Rings Online forums are better. There are still lots of complains but not as many.

Man, this FaWtL game is the worst. It's nothing but text! Did NOONE playtest this?!?!! And my god, the characters are so freaking broken it's not funny! You just write what you're doing and all the other characters respond -taking their sweet time I might add! No srsly, a high end gaming rig and a rusting old tablet had THE SAME RESPONSE TIME! The staff needs to get on this and make some serous improvements!

On a serious DotA 2 kick atm. My mates and I sunk unholy amounts of hours in the original and HoN back in the day, and recently got back into it again. Can leave you absolutely wired, or on a total high, depending on how the games go.
I do wonder when was the last time I had the time and energy to play DotA 2...

It's all about timing and effort, the less time you give people and the less effort you and John put into it the better time you'll have.
What people don't tell you is, if you don't plan your wedding someone else will :-)
We gave everyone three weeks notice and said we didn't even care about a ceremony or any of that stuff, our love was all we needed, which was all true, we just wanted to get married before we moved 2,000 miles from Wisconsin, the rest just fell into place:-)
Of course 14 years later we still get shit from the family that couldn't make it :-)

Hello?
<Enters entirely>
Ah, yes, THERE you are! <Waves>
Long time no type. Glad to see lots of peeps still in and about. Now that Summer is over maybe I'll have time to pester, I mean Participate, in FAWTL like I used to. :)
Erm,... Maybe not. We'll see how this semester of work at the University goes. :/
Since The Addams Family Musical ended, I have been playing a lot of SWTOR online, trying to take advantage of all the 12X exp boost for your main storyline. Some big push they're doing to let all try to get higher lvl characters before their big October hi-lvl update release. (In anticipation of the new movie of course) :P
On the other hand, GOG.com just released almost all of the OLD SSI D&D video games in 3 collections. So many old favorites for so cheap. (Unless it ended last night, I haven't checked today) :(
Once the SWTOR special runs out I may go back to free play and spend my time on these instead!
Hope all are well, and get better soon CY clan!
Wizard out,... PEACE!
<Pyrotechnics spell, and exit, Thread right> :D

*SIGH*. I should have known. I went and posted in an "Advice" thread, figuring a guy was just asking for opinions...
...and the ugliness has started.
It reminds me of Shiro's player's description of Rift: "They make a PvP server so all the <people who enjoy being mean to each other> stay there, and everyone else can play in peace on the non-PvP servers."
I think the Advice and Rules forums are the PvP servers of Paizo...

Well, if you have the energy again, do give me a shout. We rarely have a full team, and it's so much nicer when not playing with random internet people.

Defence of the Ancients 2, a Steam/Valve follow up to the original, which was a Warcraft 3 mod. Exclusively PC, and I'm not really sure how or if a console controller could pull it off. It's a five v five player multiplayer online battle arena (I think they call them MOBA's now), kinda like an RTS where you only control one hero unit (who levels and you buy items for), alongside four other players against five other people, while two AI controlled bases throw waves of units at each other. It's fun, but can get very stressful, as it requires focus, strategic thinking, quick reactions, and a lot of cooperative play, which is sorely lacking when playing with people online.

While DOTA is not on console, one of its competitors - Smite - is on Xbone, and might be en route to PS4 in the near-ish future.

Apologies in advance to LordSynos particularly for speaking ill of a national artform, but there's a local shop I go in where they're always playing CDs of Irish showband tunes. I'm sure that there are excellent examples of this genre out there, but the stuff he plays is some of the dreariest music ever recorded for posterity, even the super cheery stuff. 'She'll Be Coming Round The Mountain' sounds like a funeral march.

Yes there are!
A friend of mine in the kingmaker game was interested as is another in the Darklight Sisterhood game. I don't think the latter game is going to go for it due to claustrophobia among several players, but the kingmaker group might.
John is very claustrophobic, and he loved it.

You know you've been married too long when you tell your wife, "Yeah, tomorrow at lunch I'm going to be playing with my 200-pound rubber and the FedEx girl," and her response is merely, "Run, FedEx girl, run!!!!"
Our roof is in terrible, terrible shape, with leaks all the way across, and a couple of places were we get full-blown drips every time we get even the mildest of rains (0.05" or above). I'm sure much of the plywood and rafters are rotting, so I have to pay a good roofing company to rip the whole thing off, clear it all the way down to the base, and rebuild it from scratch. I figure that'll run me around $18,000. I don't have that kind of money lying around in my pocket (curse you, Paizo!), so for an interim solution I ordered 500 square feet of 60 mil roofing rubber, which I'm just going to lay down with some bricks. Yeah. I'm "Mr. High Tech roofing solutions".
Well, 500 sq. ft. of 60 mil isn't light. It's 210 pounds of rubber. So I simply started telling NobodysWife how much I was looking forward to receiving my "200 pound rubber". And, of course, our local FedEx delivery person is a delightful young woman, so I'm sure she'll be helping me get my rubber into place when the time comes.
It's much more fun to leave the double-entendres alone...
