Nah. Everyone knows that Freehold peddles happiness.

Today's work will only last 6 hours and 10 minutes due to work being longer for 30 minutes on previous days. It has certain advantages.

Naked enslavement of ponies? Uh... Well, I am a dragon after all!

Morning, FAWTLs! All Fridays are welcome, but this one marks the end of a particularly annoying work week.

In other positive news, I'll have some folks coming over to the house on Sunday to play Pathfinder with my daughters and me. We'll have a group of 4 kids (and 3 dads). This will be like the inaugural meeting of the "San Diego Junior Pathfinder Society" group.

I wish we were getting more of a response to the idea of developing a Pathfinder Society group that caters to younger players, but having a total of 6 kids is an okay start.

Aside from getting through the workday, today and tomorrow will be filled with Wayfinder #11 proofreading and prep work for Sunday's game.

Have fun with the game, Paris!

Also, any increase of local population of half-dragon ponies is completely coincidental!

Added to favorites on deviant as soon as I saw that...

470 new watch messages awaiting to be sorted out at deviant art. Nope. Not today. Not anytime soon probably.

I don't find the FAWTL guild.

Hey now. Clearly they were evil doughnuts that could only be cleansed by passing through the fires of digestion.

Now; calculate the FaWTL thread income tax, the LPM's oblitory tithe, calculator fees, my salary, upkeep for the navy, shells for the VP's shotgun for his "hunting trips". Subtract that from the $145 sale and you are left with $7.47 net income.

Mmmm donuts sound good right now.

Just a basic colon: one dot atop the other like a lazy kid's snowman.

Lazy kids' colons are the worst.

Re-discovered my copy of Fable for the original Xbox. Few games, in my experience, have managed to replicate its ability to addict and bore at the same time. I'd also forgotten how badly the clunky camera controls give me motion sickness.

The naval upkeep is paid in Swedish meatballs. Just saying.

Holy Moly! Stephan Pastis got the extremely elusive Bill Watterson to collaborate on Pearls before Swine strips.

I wondered what was going on this week, since it was such a departure from Pastis's normal art. And I had this weird tug of familiarity when I saw the other art. Now I know.

I geeked out a bit when I saw this on Facebook today. Calvin and Hobbes was one of my favorite comic strips (the other being Farside). Almost makes me wish I still read newspapers.

I get my comics through an RSS feed. We only get the Sunday paper these days, and that's really only for coupons.

I imagined a longship crushing right into Ikea with vikings spilling into the various areas of the shop...

Diane and I got in the kickstarter at a fairly high level, but we kind of lost track of it until she noticed an email yesterday that we had to finalize everything to get our stuff.

I think they are starting the beta soon.
