In other news, I have arrived in Houston and am looking forward to chilling with FAWTLs at various points throughout the weekend.

Temperature's that high, eh?

Sounds hot, hope it's as fun as I'd expect it.

I'm back after a long absence. I lost net connection for quite a long time.

In other news, things are going horribly on the home front. Grandmother is pretty much near death and things have been utterly disastrous on the relationship front.

So, what have I missed?

Having just returned from my grandfather's funeral, you have my sympathies Janus. Hope her passing is peaceful.

I am sorry for your loss. I hope things went peacefully and there was no drama.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother, MagusJanus.

I too am sorry to hear about your Grandmother MagusJanus. Hopefully your other issues go a bit better.

Magus, I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. You have been missed around here, man.

we made strawberry Jam !

because we do not have that much time this year we bought the Stawberries at the farm shop instead of the "pick yourself field" so this years batch is a bit more expensive than usual but still cheaper (and tastier) than buying jam at the supermarket

Morning folks.

*yawn*

Unproductive weekend.

Good morning FAWTLY FOLK!!! Happy Sunday! There has been coffee and bacon!

Got our new TV yesterday! It's very nice. Last night, once the kids were in bed, I watched X-Men: First Class. So awesome on the new TV. It was almost like I could reach out and touch them.

Scarab Sages

And it's one of those smart TVs, so it's got a built in wifi. We can get Amazon, Netflix, Skype, etc.

The wife ordered a camera to go with the TV, so we can use it to skype with her mother. I find that thought slightly terrifying.

Huzzah! Though I would live to meet you in the flesh, sadly I do not foresee this occurring. As is usual with me, other things intrude.

Well I went out last night and saw "Edge of Tommorrow" in 3D, It was good and I am pleasantly surprised as Tom Cruise movies have not been doing it for me lately

Going to check it out in 30, I expect good things. Also, I think I'm the only one here who knows how awkward your name would actually feel. Damn things would itch my scalp endlessly, so a tinfoil one would make me go insane.

Silver Crusade

If you get the chance see it in 3D.

Silver Crusade

Also the itching is a minor inconvenience, compared to not having the govt. able to control me.

You know, I have found tin foil to be an excellent signal enhancer... And it could be coated in contact drugs!

:P

Oh sheet, I was really hoping to avoid lead. Perhaps some asbestos

actually it fills you with doughnuts

and shame
Unsurprisingly, reading the responses to my post about doughnuts has only made me want more doughnuts.

So I had another doughnut. Lord and Lady Moorluck are nothing if not doughnut-enablers.

Although I will narf some donuts like a dirty south bawse, I'm sick as f+~% and would barf them up atm.

Celestial, have you tried the donut yet? :P

Spanky, I hope you get to feeling better.
