After I turned off the bluray player and switched back to the regular TV I was channel surfing and found in the AVN Awards. I was compelled to watch. So damned funny.

Nekkid awards show watching. Considering the industry, how very appropriate.

Scarab Sages

And I had no idea there were so many awesome parodies out there.

Scarab Sages

Almost time for another cup of coffee, then getting ready for the day. Later folks.

A lot of people in the industry have great senses of humor. It's a necessity, from what I am told- people who take this too seriously don't last long.

Just applied for another job.

Good luck!

Boo, too.

Morning, all! How're your weekends shaping up? I'm getting the family up and running so they ladies can all head out to a Girl Scout event. I'll be making a run to the store (woohoo! :/), then coming home to work on a variety of Pathfinder stuff. I need to prep two scenarios for running at PaizoCon and I'm building the next adventure in my Golarion home game.

Well... Neil Gaiman just turned up in the novel I'm reading.

And the one of the undercover cops started an occult bar brawl.

I'm planning on heading home tomorrow at 0 dark thirty. I wish things were more settled with Dad's medical situation, but I'm between a rock and a hard place.

At least I should be home soon.

Y'all take care!

Have a safe trip. I hope for the best with your Dad.

Thanks!

I'm home safely now.

Tons of stuff to catch up on here.

Yesterday at the day job was awful. That place is becoming just a paycheck to me. Nothing I do is appreciated in the slightest, and a pair of micromanagers for supervisor and boss with different motivations and philosophies is the worst. I just applied for another job yesterday in my fury, only to discover that it was a job I had already applied for. Laughing at that took the sting away a little bit, but it was watching Godzilla last night and imagining the MUTOS were my boss and supervisor that did the trick. It also made me wonder where Jess Door was.

Sorry to hear about the suck.

Who knows summon Jess? :)

Yay, tomorrow I'm off to France for my first holiday abroad (Scotland probably doesn't count). Hopefully the weather will be well. But I probably won't see you guys for a week.

Have fun!

That's a harsh pair of things to learn.

It seems like it's been a pretty rough month for a lot of people.

Yeah.

But thanks to you, thanks to all of you, it's not nearly as bad as it could have been.

Thank you, everyone. I don't know how I would have made it this far without you.

I'm sorry, man.

Afternoon, all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

So, I just got to spend all afternoon at the dealership getting my car fixed. I am now $600 poorer. :(

Silver Crusade

I was worried that one of my vendors was going to offer me a job over lunch on Friday. That is a strange thing to be worried about, but I was concerned that I was going to have a conundrum - do I accept a lucrative offer but burn a bridge in the process by leaving my current job after only a year?

Conundrum avoided. The offer was there, but it was not lucrative. It made it easy to politely decline.

I am so looking forward to seeing Houston FAWTLs in a week. Hopefully some more plans get made between now and then. (Speaking of trying to summon Jess Door...)

Back from bowling from my supervisor and colleagues from work. It was fun. I have even managed to get one strike and few spares. We played some pool later. I even won twice. I lost three or four times, though.

I might be going for paintball day in three weeks from now.

I made a slight tweak to it so it's summonable by druids, rangers, and the like.

Speaking of updates, I haven't forgotten about your suggestions for the doppel ooze, Drejk. I just haven't been able to give it enough attention to get the wording right.

Sigh - Kevril Dryadson couldn't survive the magus' critical hit with his rapier delivered shocking grasp.

I really need to start beating down this month-long writer block I've been having.

Me too.

hi everyone,

tomorrow Sabines grandma has another surgery, this time at her shoulder :-/

At library downloading Silent Storm. Supposedly it is a very good turn-based tactical game in the style of Jagged Alliance 2.

Icy and Freehold, I hope you can get past your writer's blocks soon.

Best wishes for Sabine's grandmother.

Does finishing submission for bestiary of Armageddon 2 contest counts as breaking writs block or just a start of a new one?

I think it counts as breaking writer's block. At least for me, even completing a small writing assignment is enough of a victory to get me past it.

Good luck with the contest, Drejk!

I am chork the king of pork. I have writer's block. My family is blocking me from writing, and I ain't billing my client. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to fine your family members to make up for not billing your client. That works, right?
