The more crap I can get now, the less I have to worry about during the big move.
But I should put some clothes on before the new neighbors get the wrong idea.
Or, as I've been calling it....THE BIG MOVE, Part II.
Watching news on Chile. Be careful, Klaus.

Nah, they're just run-of-the-mill mortals. Blink, and you miss them.

Good morning, Freehold.
I'm going to take a nap now.
Good morning, hope you are all well and that the day is upon an upswing as we head towards the weekend.
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Wednesday! I suppose. I'm still fighting a cold and work is really busy/annoying. And tonight, a bunch of audit people the wife used to work with are in town and she's going to have dinner with them, so I've got the kids.
Also, today appears to be shaping into a be careful what you wish for day.
Although, really, when a schedule is tight there's never a good time for a major design decision to be made so that it can move forward.
All right, I'm gonna go do....stuff. I suppose.

Gearing up to be one of those days....

Hi FHDM,

best wishes from Sabine and me things are going okay, if not well. I've been hovering over my wife asking if there is anything I can do and she is getting annoyed at my constant questions. I guess she needs space, but I'm scared of things going wrong again or me messing up somehow. Coworker pulled me aside today because I was so out of it, and encouraged me to realize that this too shall pass. I'm trying to think that way but I'm also afraid of failing. Does that make sense?
Best to you and your wife and your new son.

It's going to be a long f@%%ing few days...
No sleep tonight so I can get work done, and then a 5-hour drive to Rhinebeck tomorrow afternoon, and then a midnight drive to Brooklyn, followed by another midnight drive BACK from Brooklyn the following night.

Meh. I'd love to get back to playing Lord of the Rings and Runes Of Magic but without broadband connection it's impossible... Over 20 GBs for LOTRO, about 16 GB for RoM.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Thursday! Had an easy time with the kidlets while the wife was out with her friends. The boy was in bed by 7:30 and the girl was asleep less than an hour later. I got to watch a bit of TV. Huzzah for that Arnold movie they named Conan the Barbarian!
Of course, I was going to stage some stuff to be taken over to the new house. Oh well, I'll do it when I get home this evening.
