Drejk, sleep well!

And there is Event Horizon in TV ending at Midnight.

Uh, it's not warm enough for naked sleeping. Especially that I share room with my mother.

Off to bed...

I should be able to connect a cable to my head and design in sleep...

They used tech and genetic engineering to uplift animals in the Eclipse Phase setting. It was released under Creative Commons licensing, so I can legally share the PDF if you (or anyone else) want it.

I'll take one

If I could do that my inability to draw would suddenly not be an issue.

Except at the O.K. Corrall.

I forgot Rob already posted them.

I see Operation: Destroy PeytonManning is proceeeding as planned.

The Las Vegas Sport's Books are laughing off their collective @$$es.

All of my friends are out partying. Time to drink Keystone Light and stare at the wall while listening to Jets to Brazil.

He is trying to renegotiate the status of his soul at the moment. Today was just a friendly little reminder that it's too late to read the fine print of his first NFL contract.

If he keeps it up, he may end up traded to the Chiefs.

This was easy money for the books, especially with the sherman comments.

Walls are boring. New plan: drink Keystone Light and watch Venture Bros.

I must say, the Tops brand pizza rolls are better than the brand-name stuff...

Dear god, I might just be intoxicated.

There's only one way to test that.

Can you flutterwacken?

The real question is: Can Germans say "squirrel".

Denver was favored by 2 and 1/2 points. Talk about a tight loosing bet. I thought that was going to be impossible.

Good morning FAWTLY FOLK!!! Happy Monday! Yesterday was a good day. Got stuff done at home, then did a neighborhood party for the Stupor Bowl! The party was fun! The game....?

.....Zzzzzzzz.....

Scarab Sages

If I had paid money to be at that game, I might have asked for a refund.

Scarab Sages

At least Seattle actually showed up to play. But I think, in a way, Denver's lack of serious effort was a disservice to the Seahawks.

Scarab Sages

But, hey! Did I mention the party?

Scarab Sages

We went over to a neighbor's house. The folks who live right across the street from my brother. Kids were banished upstairs for the most part. They had a room with Disney movies and one with the game on. Downstairs we had all the food, and the game on. In the garage/man cave, we had more food, the beer, and the game on.

Scarab Sages

And, the neighbors, Ronnie and Melissa, finally got to meet my wife and kids. Only took about 6 months.

Scarab Sages

Charlie had a blast, but he didn't want to leave. And he didn't want to go to bed, despite being exhausted. He hadn't napped yesterday, so I could tell he was wiped out. When I finally got him in bed, I didn't even read or sing to him and he was all right with it. I imagine he's still sleeping and will be so for a good while longer.

Scarab Sages

Even Katie was tuckered out. Little bit slept 6-1/2 hours. That's a record!

Scarab Sages

Half-time show: it was ok. That Bruno Mars kid is pretty talented. And the Chili Peppers look old.

Scarab Sages

For my money, the best commercial was the Chevy commercial with the cows and bull.

So they don't think you are a crazy person with invisible wife and kids anymore?

Dark Archive

Morning all. Hope you all have a good day on this ... *looks outside* ... wet auld day. Currently coasting at a comfortable 5 degrees, and a blissfully slow day at work to catch up with all the postings.

Don't know anything about this Peyton Manning fellow, or why being a Chief would be a bad thing. Gonna guess it's all about that big game ye had there over the weekend?

Scarab Sages

I could have sworn I had seen somewhere that Disney was going to run a Captain America 2 TV spot, but I must have missed it. Either that or they pulled it because they figured fewer people would be watching after half time.

Scarab Sages

And some of those commercials had me scratching my head thinking "they paid all that money for this s+&&?".

Scarab Sages

Because, if I recall correctly, the going rate for a 30 second spot was somewhere in the neighborhood of $4 million.

No, they don't think I have an invisible family. But all that's not my doing. Wife has been pretty much playing hermit since we moved here.

All you really need to know about Peyton Manning are two things:

1. He is arguably one of the best (if not THE) best quarterbacks ever to play the game of football.

2. He is a fairly humble guy who's more than willing to make fun of himself.

And yes, it was all about that big game. I think it's still one of the single most watched sporting events on the planet.

Well so long as they don't think you are crazy :P

Scarab Sages

All right folks. Time for me to go lament the boringness of the game with real live people.

I stayed safely in my room for the duration of the game, but I did get this hilarious summary of the situation from Scint:

T-minus one hour to doctor appointment. Going to take off a little earlier than needed to get there on time so I can update insurance paperwork. Also grab breakfast. Catch y'all later FAWTLfolk.

Happy Monday!

Let us not mention Sunday nor the Superb Owl.

I found some old cottage cheese and decided to spice it up with garlic and black pepper for breakfast. Om nom.

I plan to eat all the old food in the fridge in order to strengthen my immune system. There should be a greater variety of infectious diseases in there than any single vaccine carries.

Well it's always interesting to have a clear fridge, although having to eat a whole jar of mustard or pesto gets tricky.

To be honest, the salsa had achieved sentience and was asking us to pay up on our Super Bowl bet, so I threw it away.

Did it dance away?

(but there are a few things that shouldn't be NOM'd)
