I'll take one

I forgot Rob already posted them.

I see Operation: Destroy PeytonManning is proceeeding as planned.
The Las Vegas Sport's Books are laughing off their collective @$$es.
He is trying to renegotiate the status of his soul at the moment. Today was just a friendly little reminder that it's too late to read the fine print of his first NFL contract.
If he keeps it up, he may end up traded to the Chiefs.

Denver was favored by 2 and 1/2 points. Talk about a tight loosing bet. I thought that was going to be impossible.

We went over to a neighbor's house. The folks who live right across the street from my brother. Kids were banished upstairs for the most part. They had a room with Disney movies and one with the game on. Downstairs we had all the food, and the game on. In the garage/man cave, we had more food, the beer, and the game on.

Charlie had a blast, but he didn't want to leave. And he didn't want to go to bed, despite being exhausted. He hadn't napped yesterday, so I could tell he was wiped out. When I finally got him in bed, I didn't even read or sing to him and he was all right with it. I imagine he's still sleeping and will be so for a good while longer.

Morning all. Hope you all have a good day on this ... *looks outside* ... wet auld day. Currently coasting at a comfortable 5 degrees, and a blissfully slow day at work to catch up with all the postings.
Don't know anything about this Peyton Manning fellow, or why being a Chief would be a bad thing. Gonna guess it's all about that big game ye had there over the weekend?

No, they don't think I have an invisible family. But all that's not my doing. Wife has been pretty much playing hermit since we moved here.

All you really need to know about Peyton Manning are two things:
1. He is arguably one of the best (if not THE) best quarterbacks ever to play the game of football.2. He is a fairly humble guy who's more than willing to make fun of himself.
And yes, it was all about that big game. I think it's still one of the single most watched sporting events on the planet.

I stayed safely in my room for the duration of the game, but I did get this hilarious summary of the situation from Scint:
so we have a crowded downstairs of people for the sportsball annual ritual sacrifice
There is much feasting upon the sacred foods
Referred to in the ancient tongue, translating roughly to "Blood of the strongest." The closest approximation I can give is "Poht Lak"
I believe after the moon chant they will complete the heresy of causing a pig to fly.

I plan to eat all the old food in the fridge in order to strengthen my immune system. There should be a greater variety of infectious diseases in there than any single vaccine carries.
Well it's always interesting to have a clear fridge, although having to eat a whole jar of mustard or pesto gets tricky.
