Ack! I'm naked!
Well, I'm still technically on vacation. So deal with it.
We got back to NY today. The flight was delayed somewhat, but we are here. What a lot of travel woes! Still, we were lucky to have gotten out of NY when we did, right before the crappy weather.
You okay man? What did you encounter on the way back?
Coming back this morning wasn't terrible, just a flight delay resulting in a longer-than-anticipated layover. Especially since, during the delay, we could see a crew out there working on our plane. I look at it as "Hey, maintenance is a good thing, right?" You have to stay positive...

Ah, Evangelion. The fourth movie better f#@@ing deliver.
Twelve thirty? Morning everyone.

Good morning FAWTLY FOLK!!! Happy Saturday! Although it's going to be an exhaustig one. Didn't get to sleep until nearly 0130. But it's all good, because I stayed up that late to finish a book. Stephen King - Joyland. Not a bad read. Better than some of his other efforts of the last decade.
And now I've been up for an hour or so, hanging with the boy.

We may or may not try to attend his cousin's Pinewood Derby event later today. The weather's supposed to be gorgeous (high of around 72 and sunny), so maybe I'll even try to convince the wife to come out with the baby.
Not sure if I mentioned, but my trip offshore has been pushed off a bit. Instead of leaving tomorrow, I'll be leaving (probably) next Saturday.

Diaper Genie - both a blessing and a curse.
On the other hand - mmmmmm....coffee.
Damn , it looks like less than 1400 posts to go before we hit the big 100K.
Clearly, some kind of letter of commendation will be in order.

On this day, we at Paizo do hereby confer upon the FAWTLY Folk the title Order of the Ban Hammer, with absolutely no rights or privileges other than those they make up in their heads. And bragging rights.

Bragging rights we took for ourselves already.
Huh. Blogger pageview skyrocketed from 0-2 daily, 24 yesterday after posting note about kickstarter to 145 today after I posted kulit... Time to get and polish purrlings entry and post it.
Head visited. More coffee in my cup. Biscuits in the oven!
I pulled on of the biscuits apart and reformed it to look like a person. My mom and grandmother used to do stuff like that for us when we were kids.

Pardon me while I sumo wrestle with the boy.
Drejk wrote: Bragging rights we took for ourselves already. True, but it would look official. And we could rub people's faces in the official-ness of our awesomeness.
Thank the gods that wasn't a top of the page.
Okay, little man biscuit is starting to look more like a bloated shuriken.
Ordered one of the Red Dragon evolution sets through my FLGS. Still hasn't arrived. Very annoying.
All right, almost time for biscuits. Then it'll be prepare to face the day time. Later folks.
Peace and chicken grease.

You can (not) redo
The third movie was pretty unnecessary in my opinion.

Ahh. My annual post-holiday Paizo order is placed. I love 10% off and I love non-mint.
A lovely combination indeed! :)
I went to the Turkish barber for my haircut today and they tried to set fire to my ears!

Probably confused by the pointyness.

What does a Turkish barber do exactly? he burns out the hairs in your ear with alcohol and a lighter, he also massages your head and face with after shave lotion (and of course he also cuts your hair and beard according to your wishes)
edit: and I think he also burns or cuts your nose hair, can't remember exactly
I went to one before my wedding

Holy crap, I thought waxing was bad. *cringe*
Woooooooooooooooooooooooow. Emphasis on the oooooooooooooooooooooooooow part.
It wasn't painful - I just wasn't expecting it. Besides, my ears aren't hairy >:(
They did a good job on the short back & sides, though, so I'll probably go back.
My ears aren't hairy either... Nose on the other hand...

I am now thinking that my ear and nose hair trimmer was a fantastic investment, given the alternatives. *shudder*
Eh, I need an idea for purrlings favored class bonus for sorcerers.

My back.
You want the barber to burn the hair off your back too?
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Sunday? Meh.
Went to bed last night thinking I might be developing a cold, and woke up this morning to confirmation. It always makes me cranky.
