Thankfully it's been easy to shake the feeling off this time.

I hope you feel more "up" soon.

They have to discover "fun" first.

Do you have your TWIC card yet?

Got to add some fun color to my hair today. I've been working on bleaching out the old box color for the last year and I finally got to do what I actually wanted with it. :)

The kidlet approves of the idea of brightly colored hair, but thinks I should have done green instead. :P

Cool!

My daughter likes green.

Not yet, but I won't need it yet. The job I was maybe going out to the rig for has someone else going now.

And, Charlie successfully peed and pooped on the potty yesterday. He sounded so excited when he told me over the phone. It was awesome!

We're really hoping this means he'll be potty trained before new baby comes along.

Very cool!

(Congratulations on the second baby!)

Morrigan, my youngest grand daughter, took her first steps last week.

In Battle Tech it runs from 20 to 100 tons.

Cool; is your company expediting it, or does it still take a month or two?

Not so good morning FAWTLY Folk! I was doing some unpacking and house organizing last night and realized I cannot find a box containing some of my most prized books: the Hobbit/LotR set I received from my grandmother, my Dune books (the ones Frank Herbert wrote, not those other ones), and my box set of other Frank Herbert novels (including my favorite, Destination: Void).

So, I freaked out for a bit and tore through pretty much every remaining box in the house, every closet, hell I even looked through the kitchen. No luck.

My big hope is that I put the box in my wife's car for safe keeping. I texted her to check that this morning. Otherwise, I've gotta hope either a joke is being played or I missed something.

Crap. I hope it turns up soon.

IIRC 65 tons is either heavy-side of medium mech or light-side of heavy mech.

Yeah 65 tonners tend to tip a lot of scales/break a lot of "rules". I forget how heavy the Jaegers were.

This is my second day back on crutches. I have no idea why my knee regressed 2 months. A few days ago, I was trotting down the stairs to the back yard and chasing the dogs around the kitchen and almost not limping. We mow the lawn on Sunday and BAM! I can't even put weight on it, to speak of. W.T.F.? Punching it helps not at all. And this is really a PITA when I'm supposed to be packing and moving boxes and other stuff to storage for our cross-country move in 1.5 weeks!

[/venting]

How are all of you?

Hey, I can't hate math teachers. Brothers in arms and such. Heck, if I had a better grasp for explaining it to people, I'd probably be one.
