today we did some cleaning/tidying of the attic/unused floor, and we did find some cool things:
- a calender of 1977 with pics of me (2years old) that I did not know or had forgotten about
- the bill for the yard gate from 1967 (we gave the half brocken and rusted gate to a scrap metal seller last summer)
- my granddads retirement charter from the then federal railway
and the best thing:
- my grandmothers handwriten christmas cookie recepies, I was searching for them for years and was finally convinced that I had lost them

Thanks, guys. But really, it'll be good to pay off as much debt as possible and get rid of a lot of stuff that's accumulated along the way. We're looking for jobs and a minimal place to live - heck, a van will work for a while - then we'll get back on our feet. As long as we have each other and the puppies, it's all cool.
