I should probably also stop referring to tiefling and dhampir paladins as a whole as "I hate you, Dad!" Same goes for aasimar assassins and blackguards.

Ah, makes me remember when I was 7 or 8 and couldn't say "R" (so, good thing my parents aren't pirates). I had to go to a speech pedagogue and say things like "En riddare red över Ararats berg."
Every time I got it right, I got a raisin. My classmates were so envious - not only did I get to eat raisins at school hours, I got to skip cursive writing.
Wonder if the kids still have to practice that somewhere.

When they invited me, I right away got it in my head to play a dwarf fighter. I told them this. They said that was cool. Then one of them suggested maybe I'd want to look at playing a ranger. I said I'd think about it.
I have two Wizkids PF dwarf minis - the dwarf fighter and Harsk. I planned to roll up characters based on each one. I did so. Also rolled up a dwarven cleric, just for s*+$s and giggles.
I mentioned all this in an email to the guys. Since then they've gone bat s~!% annoying telling me how to optimize the character, and that maybe I should go with the ranger, and use these weapons, and take these feats, oh and change him to human since that works better.
After awhile, I just stopped responding to their emails. They continued on merrily for awhile back and forth to each other, making sure to at least CC me.
They've stopped for now. But, good lord, it made me almost reconsider participating.

I had at least three separate dreams, each with its own plot. I remember the dreaming but I can't remember them in form coherent enough to be enjoyed after waking.
I had a dream where I got a new job. It actually seemed like a really neat job with a lot of authority and flexibility. When I woke up, I was sad that I did not have it.
It's kinda funny to realise that back in my teens, that song would have appeared in pretty much every sit-com or Grey's Anatomy style drama on TV. (Except Friends, who kept using U2...)

I testified before the Colorado House Judiciary Committee.
Participating in the committee process very much reminds me of the old saying, "If you like sausage or respect the law never watch either one of them being made.".
I left the house before 0700, and I got back around midnight.
It's incredibly depressing to see the process in action.

All I can say is that if I sense a train wreck in progress, I want to be in as much control of said wreck as possible.
Whether it's to mitigate or maximize the damage depends on context.
