Now write that on the board 100 times.
Forgive my impertinence. writes until fingers bleed

It demonstrates your ability to multitask.
Whenever I'm on a conference call at work I usually try to occupy myself with a nice game of Tetris.

My inner child is grounded for scribbling on the walls of my brain.
This is, incidentally, my explanation for how earworms happen.
My inner child is busy pretending that people are ants. He's holding a magnifying glass over them in the sun. They make little popping noises instead of curling up as they get scorched.

Very tired today. I should have just called in.
Yeah - I'm dubious as to whether there was actually a bomb. Who puts a bomb in Farmingdale? But there were bomb squads there and such. The news stories are still vague on what the police actually found in that package, and it sounds like it may have been nothing.

I remember we had the bomb squad on campus one day during my junior year because there was a suspicious backpack outside the humanities building.
Turns out it just had a bunch of dinosaur toys in it, and the prevailing rumor was that some twit was trying to make it onto My Life Is Average or whatever.

As long as you are okay, that's what's important!

I'd not sweat too much over it. Seems of the bomb-scares reported in the news, 90% are just forgotten packages, and of the remaining 10% only about half are actual bombs, and of those even less are actually meant to go off.
