As great as Freehold's visit was, I truly do wish he could have stayed for the events of today.

Spoiler:
I got to watch three (presumed) lesbians go from cuddles and kisses to yelling and fighting. This culminated in clothes being ripped off, cops, drug arrest, naked flashing of female crotches, K-9 units, guns, a guy being b**#* slapped by a nearly nude pixie, a pink hair girl in nothing but a bra and panty set being body slammed after kicking a cop in the nuts, and SLED officers being called in. I s$%% you guys not, best 45 minute show of my life!

Sure am glad that noon appointment canceled and I was sitting at the gas station across from that townhouse. O_o

Finally made it through all your pics. Sadly, I only 'recognized' somewhat less than half of the characters they were playing. :/

Moorluck, your political rants coils breathe life into all but the most somber of events! Agree or disagree, with your impersonations to provide levity, I think you should be hosting politically incorrect, not what's his face.

A bit of fawsome news. One of our gamers just brought his wife in from Scotland. No, not like that, he's Scottish too.

Anyway, there was some concern about his continued participation with her close by.

BUT she has decided to give gaming a try. Has even gone so far as to visit a local gaming store a few times, but the atmosphere was too loud for her, as she is still adjusting to hearing English all the time. He is going to help her play an 'easy' PC and the group remains at 5 players + GM.

The only thing that makes me nervous is that I am running Rappan Athuk. I may have to pull some punches for awhile.

Spoiler:
Now, if a certain LPM and Mrs. would make their move I could field an optimal table of 7 and wreak true havoc!

Ok. I have been corrected. The Mrs is not, in fact, Scottish.

But that wasn't the important part anyway. New gaming blood is. :)

One of my PbP players finally got her IRL stuff straightened out so that game is going live again. Otherwise, plotting story stuff for writing projects with Scint.

Me? I just hid in the basement after arguing with my daughter about financial responsibility in college, and my wife about trying to take steps should I lose my job when our company moves next year. Apparently, I need to let my daughter 'live her own life' even after she needs me to sign on large loans for school, and not 'worry about the future' so much from my wife. Heading to bed grumpy.

Best wishes and prayers Emp 7,
I share in your concern for the future.
Mine ain't lookin' particularly hot financially or job-wise either. ;S

So, what you're saying is you were actually able to understand what she said?

I kid. I actually find the Scottish and north-English dialects to be the most natural-sounding-to-my-ears types of English.

Figuring out what few things are must-keeps and preparing to sell the rest.

in a film I can understand the toned down scottish

but in real live, scotts are almost un-understandable for me, I never had so much problems as in scottland with conversations.

Irish on the other hand is easy, or maybe the irish just tone it down more when speaking with germans

and good morning K

We will be. Selling everything I can to pay creditors, dumping the store, and starting over. Puffin and I will be heading to the northwest, where the job (and water) situations are much better than here.

Things could be worse. We have each other and the dogs and you guys. <3

Damn mosquitos. Thankfully there is much less of them this year than a few years ago. Sole positive of having hotter summers and colder winters.

I'm very sorry that things didn't work out, but many of the most successful people that I know stumbled mightily before they achieved great success!

So, the wife and I have seriously started looking into maybe getting a bigger place. Now would be a decent time, since we just paid off both cars.

The big thing would be selling the current house. When we bought it, the market was much better (2005). Even still, with the improvements we've made to it, I think we could at least break even.

Maybe.
