What can I say, it's hot out? Fortunately the Starbucks had a drive-thru, because I don't think they would have let me in in my state of undress.

Move completed, internet installed, now need two weeks to put everything away in some semblance of order.

Thank god my collection of H is un-smashable.

Mrgh...

How many times must one repeat "I love my job" to oneself before they start to believe it? I have been doing retail entirely too long.

Love and retail dont really belong in the same sentence ...

And when I have moved in the past that is when I decide that the best way to never have to unpack the boxes is to get rid of them...I mean, I can't really need whatever's in them anyways if I haven't missed it in a year....of course when I say get rid of it, I mean put it in a pile somewhere of stuff to go to the Salvation Army whenever I get around to taking it...so it would sit for another six months at least...my procrastinating might be a tad out of control....

I have some old clothes that aren't in too bad of a shape. I think I might donate them to Salvation Army.

You should move down here and go to work with Solnes, her retail is fun and educational. :P

If I'd a teaching license for the state, I'd consider it. I'm just glad retail's no longer my only source of income, inconsistent as subbing is.

She also is pursuing a career in teaching. But I'd be just as happy for her to stay where she is.... she get's the best free stuff to bring home. :P

FAWTL seems to be looking a little quiet tonight. Think I'll drag my tired old carcass to bed. Night folks.

Wow, 'tis quiet. Good night!

It's because I'm getting ready for Paizocon!

Watch out for the Skittles.

Do I look Russian to you? We get rid of samovars after regaining independence in 1918. Those that remained as family heirlooms were stolen after 1939.

Time to make another pot of tea.

Good morning fellow FAWTLY Folk! Happy Friday! A bit rain-soaked here in Philly this a.m., but it's supposed to clear up and be sunny later on.

Scarab Sages

Went over to my buddies house last night to discuss our gaming situation and try planning for a more regular weekly game. We're gonna try Thursday nights, for just a few hours, and see how that goes.

Last night, one of the guys brought along the Dungeon Crawl Classics game book and we think we're gonna play that for a bit. At least until he get's tired of running it.

Scarab Sages

Although I still want to try keeping up with, and increasing, some of our other campaigns, where we play on the weekend.

Scarab Sages

still stoked about the upcoming PaizoCon

I blame Aberzombie.

Scarab Sages

I mentioned to my buddies the adventure I was planning to run at the Con. My friends were a bit mad that I never mentioned it to them or ran them through it. I told them that's because it wasn't finished yet.

And it isn't, but emphasis on "yet". I'll finish it in time for the Con, but it's gonna be close. Mostly what's left is writing up a few room descriptions, getting a handful of encounter stats (CR and such) finished, and making some slight adjustments to one of the maps.

Oh yeah, and printing stuff out so that I can have it on hand.

Really, send some of that rain this way. Supposed to be sunny, humid, and 100+ hot for the entire weekend, some clouds would be nice.

I don't need proof. I have a mob backing me up. Proof does not matter to them.

Yay, my desktop widget says it's only a high of 100 today!

I hate everything.

How many times do I have to tell you that the stuffed animals and dolls you use as your tea party guests don't count as a real mob?

I like winter weather, save for the parts that involve me driving. Summer can die.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Autumn here. Winter's too cold, summer's too hot, spring's too sunny. Autumn's nice temperature, breezy, cloudy, and full of pretty colors.

Autumn is allergy central.

I keep saying it time and time again: you're putting too much work into it.

Taig is playing. He plays to TPK. You'll be done a half-hour before beer-thirty.
