I was DMing. My players were loading flaming midden into the catapults on the battlements at Oleg's. Am I excused?

No direct Greek-to-English translations, sadly, though I've known people who owned them.

] kingmaker fistbump what's the name of your kingdom? My players have styled themselves the lords of verlandia. Their heraldry looks a lot like the Microsoft windows xp generic background, but with a river running through it and a sun in the corner.

They haven't named themselves as a group yet. Probably because they haven't considered it, though ICly I imagine it's because the Druid isn't with them so they can't discuss it. She is due to arrive in a day or two (her player had a family emergency and had to miss the first session, so she'll be arriving with Kesten and his troops).

My players had him(kesten) killed in a particularly ugly fit of pc metagaming paranoia.

I doubt it'll be an issue for my players, unless he twigs the Magus's anxiety, then who knows what'll happen. They're already eagerly looking forward to finding Kressle, after hearing Svetlana's stories. I doubt her end will be as... heh... "messy" as Happs's.

I love my work at home Fridays. There's nothing better than setting up the laptop on the front porch and watching the world go by whilst still being productive.
My sympathies, FHDM.

Positive waves sent your way Freehold. Hope the memorial helps you bring some closure and good memories as you celebrate your wife's aunt's life.

I hope we'll have a FaWTLie with (RPG Superstar 2013) next to their name.
I've been tempted to try it, but I'm bad with coming up with ideas on command, it's more one of those "have to be inspired" things.

Augh. Tough morning. My alarm clock has this malfunction where if it reaches the end of the playlist it thinks that it's still going off, but no sound is coming out. This is only a problem when it reaches the end of the playlist within the first couple of minutes because that's just not enough time for me to process that this sound isn't part of my dream. So this was one of those mornings. Kidlet got to school a half hour late. :(
And it's going to be a rough day for him because it was supposed to be field day, which he's been looking forward to, but it's raining.

Thank you, everyone. She was a wonderful woman, although I didn't get to know her very well. My father in law is coming up for the memorial and he is quite sad. He said that my wife is so very much like her, so they will probably be spending a lot of daddy daughter time together. Her final wish was that noone mourn her and have a good time at her memorial, but I don't know if that's going to happen.

I really hope I can finagle things so I can go see Snow White and the Hunstman tonight. My sister-in-law thinks I'm nuts cause I like to go to the movies alone, but it works for me. Plus, there are so many better reasons to think I'm nuts. :)
It looks like female protagonist stuff done right. Here's hoping.
