What will the winner win?

Every contestant who advances to Round 2 gets a complementary PDF of Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Guide to the Inner Sea.

As I recall from last year, the point of this free PDF was to put people on even footing for the following the rounds, as they would all have access to the same Golorian information.

I realize this book isn't available yet, but I am curious when the Top 32 will have access to it. I have the old Campaign Setting (in print and PDF), but I'd hate for anyone else to be disadvantaged in this competition.

Ok, I also want to play with the shiny new version of the book, but can you really blame me ;p

Lucky! If you get it before the release you must tease us with the awesomeness within...

The Top 32 contestants (and the alternates who submitted their archetypes, which I think is all of them) will get the Guide to the Inner Sea PDF next week. It is a perk, and it will ensure they have access to setting info they'll need in a future round, but it is also a test.

Specifically, it tests how they deal with having access to as-yet-unpublished information (something that contributors often deal with)... because they won't be allowed to talk about it.

What is this magic that you call "rules?" Seriously, though, I looked at the official rules but I didn't see any mention of prizes beyond the big prize.

Edit: Never mind, I found it. I read the Official Rules but not the Frequently Asked (and contest fine print)Questions. That is awesome. Maybe the twist will be having to stat up an NPC villian from the sourcebook or use it to design an encounter?

2nd edit: That's wicked cool. Thanks Paizo!

Edit:
Nevermind. Just have fun everyone. :)

This is awesome!

And to my friends, who'll no doubt be curious about the Guide, I'll have to tell "I would tell you, but then I'd have to kill you." :D
