Because I never liked that cartoon.

In the same way that you can divide people into "Elvis fans" or "Beatles fans," I think you can divide people into "Transformers cartoon fans" or "G.I. Joe cartoon fans." And yes, I am aware there is some crossover between the two cartoons and comics.
