Difficult Terrain & Animal / vermin / plant

Rules Questions

Hello
In Kingmaker, i play most of the encounters on difficult terrain, so double movement cost.

May animals, plant & vermins have movement's facilities on their natural terrain, even if they haven't feats (like Nimble Moves or Acrobatics Steps) nor special ability (like Woodland Stride)?

For ex: Owlbear has to move 15 ft on difficult terrain in a move action and cannot take a 5 foot-step, run or charge...
The same with Shambling Mound....10 ft on difficult terrain and only 5 feet if it's snow on ground.
It is very difficult for animal/vermin/plant to hunt on their own terrain!!!

Is it silly to think they could have advantage for moving on natural terrain & weather conditions?

So should i conclude animals are at a disadvantage on their own terrain compared to PCs?

Animals have increased movement speed, what do you want? The only PCs who can avoid it are Druids or higher level Rangers.
