Gidget the flying oracle question...in the right place

(I posted this in the general discussion by accident...sorry. This should be the correct place.)

So, I was plotting out my Oracle of Flame's revelations, and I noticed that Fly is not a class skill of the Flame Oracle (who can take Wings of Fire as early as 7th Level). All the other winged Oracles receive fly as a class skill(wind, heavens, etc.), and the Nature Oracle (which doesn't seem to have a flying ability other than the 8th level spell animal shapes) has fly as well.

Why doesn't the Oracle of Flame have fly as a class skill?

Does having this revelation count as having a natural fly skill allowing them to treat it as a class skill?

Should they have the Fly skill?

Thanks.

OK, I'm a little confused as to how or why this was moved to the General Discussion. Thanks.

well under the fly skill it states that any creature with a fly speed treats the fly skill as a class skill. So i dont think it really matters.

Having a fly speed and gaining flying from an ability or spell are actually two differing things. If you look at a stat block and see a fly speed listed that is one thing, that creature has a fly speed and gets the skill. Looking at a stat block and not seeing a fly speed listed but having a spell or the ability to fly via spell-like or supernatural ability means the creature could fly but doesn't mean they get the skill.

As for the lack of fly skill, it is possible Paizo errored and now that they are aware of it you may possibly see errata. It is also possible that because of the abilities given they decided to not give this particular sub class the skill. Honestly just looking over the mysteries, it would have probably been easier to give the class the fly skill regardless of the mystery chosen. They are spell casters and with being able to chose which spells they learn some sort of flying/transmute spell is likely to be chosen during their adventuring career. If it makes sense to you in your games, house rule/Rule 0 it ;)
