Teleportation School Question

Rules Questions

Shift from Teleportation sub-school of Conjuration from APG lets you teleport 2 ft. / 2 wizard levels as a swift action. It is a Supernatural ability (hence not spell-like). Would you have to make a concentration check to use it if you were being threatened, such as while you're grappled? I wouldn't think so based on the description for concentration checks, supernatural, and spell-like abilities. Thanks in advance.

Since it's a supernatural ability, you don't need to make a concentration check with it, ever. So if you're grappled, you will it to go off, and away you go.

Thanks. What about abilities and feats like Teleport Tactician? Would there be any way to stop him from teleporting around without getting hit other than limited times of use?

Teleport Tactician works against any teleportation "effect", I'm not sure what "effect" means, but the feat says "even if casting defensively or using a supernatural ability." so the feat should work.

Note that "Shift" works as Dimension Door, afaik it means that after teleporting you can't do more actions in that round, it limits the awesomeness of that ability.

To stop him from jumpin around use the spell Dimensional Anchor. It prevents all forms of extra-planar travel.
