Dear Dino in Excelsis,
I now have 7 hobos and feel like I can go back to eating the rest of the leftovers myself now that I've had a break. What should I do with the hobos now that I've caught them? They seem rather cramped locked in the extra powder room, and are capable of more racket than I anticipated. Thanks,

Use the hobos in mad scientist experiments.

I think we have a long way to go to catch FAWTL.

This needs at least four more threads to catch up.
Edit: four more threads with at least 300 more pages each. :D

So I was thinking of adapting a version of the White Kingdom into Golarion. So I was thinking Azlanti went underground just before earthfsll, started worshiping Zura ended up being a bunch of decadent Ghouls. What do you think?
Check out "Into the Darklands" and "Classic Horrors." The White Kingdom is already kinda part of Golarion; ghouls are a major race in the Darklnads, and their capital city of Nemret Noktoria is, I suspect, pretty much exactly what you're looking for. Since it and the White Kingdom were both heavily influenced by Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith.
And as for the Azlanti who went underground... we've more or less established already that those guys mostly became morlocks.
And as for who the ghouls worship... they already have a demon lord: Kabriri. Zura's more a demon lord of vampires than of ghouls.

You know for some reason, I've always wanted to try and make ghouls work as "failed" vampires. Given that they don't have the same degree of weaknesses, however, I've never been able to quite figure out how to do it.
On the other hand, that pretty much violates the feel of ghouls as a Lovecraftian sort of undead race. I'm liking that better now with an actual ghoul city as part of Golarion.
Wait, I need a question . . . why is it so hard to find the stupid CR 2032 battery on my motherboard?
I want my desktop running again . . .

That was a fun adventure. It succeeded.
I'd call them blemishes, if I knew what the "warts" even were.

The "warts" exist as some art that doesn't fit with the style we were aiming for with Pathfinder. The cartoony art. It was a necessity at the time since we only had about a week to get the art in, due to a snafu with the art ordering process... but it did give us a rocky start with a LOT of folks gnashing their teeth over "Pathfinder's art is too cartoony; I miss the realistic art of Dungeon magazine" and thus made us worry that folks wouldn't like Pathfinder.

what do you think of this game setting?
Woah... I think it's an awful lot of words for me to read when I'm procrastinating about finishing the development of the Haunting of Harrowstone for Pathfinder #43. What's the 1 sentence summary of the setting?

A world that has suffered 4 apocalypses already...
I do not think that word means what you think it means.
...fighting to slow down the next apocalypse that is fated to happen.
Why? Why not build your bomb shelters and let it come roarin' through, so you can start rebuilding sooner?

NPC1: Is it Thursday yet?
NPC2: No, only Tuesday...why?
NPC1: Oh, an apocalypse is scheduled for Thursday.
NPC2: Again? Didn't we just have one last week?
NPC1: Yeah, they're getting a bit annoying. Maybe some Big Damn Heroes will show up.
NPC2: Yeah, maybe. So what are your plans for Friday?
NPC1: Eh, you know...rebuilding.

Kind of reminds me of the first episode of Futurama where they show all of the time passing while Fry is frozen. Aliens come and destroy the world on at least two separate occasions.

Maybe 'cataclysm' or just 'world war' would be better.
Looks like a real epic setting.
So, James Jacobs: If you were to set an AP during a war between two states on Golarion which states would you choose and which side would the PCs be on?

Sounds interesting... but with no human looking humanoids, it's probably not a game world I'd personally be interested in playing in. I really REALLY like having humans as the baseline race, or at the very minumum, the baseline SHAPE.

So, James Jacobs: If you were to set an AP during a war between two states on Golarion which states would you choose and which side would the PCs be on?
I would choose Molthune vs. Nirmathas, because we haven't done much there yet, and because it's the two nations we've INTENDED to be at war with each other. And I would let the PCs pick which side their party was on if that were possible... otherwise I'd put the PCs on Nirmathas's side.
Because Robin Hood is better than Lancelot.
