I am playing a paladin in CotCT and so far the character doesn’t suck, I am having fun and the rest of the group don’t hate me or my character. What am I doing wrong?
Related question; a couple of the games I am playing in have people playing fighters - they don't seem to suck either, they kick ass, their players are having fun and they are not being completely outshone by the wizards, clerics or druids. WTF? Seriously?? What is going on?

I might have to put up some rules for posting lots of questions all at once like this too... here goes:
1) Because paving over a farm makes folks unhappy.
2) There is no deity of earth sciences. Mostly because Earth is really far away.
3) Because no one on this side of the pond knows what blancmange is.
4) It'd be a double bluff, but only if he didn't realize it.
5) Abrogail II isn't looking for a king. She's looking for a pet.
6) Until they find a way to keep sand out of the cheese, it won't be going far.
7) Sarusan's strange properties would render any answer I give here irrelevant, so I won't bother.
8) We already DID detail the Queen of the Wildwood. But that product's only available in the dream market, so it's hard to find.
9) I would say Galt, because I like Galt better than Taldor, and I'm the one who gets to make those decisions.
10) Until Bestiary 2 comes out, you find only dirt. AFTER Bestiary 2, you might find either a pot o' gold or a cudgel to the back of the skull.
11) I can't reveal where Besmara buries her treasure without this board's profanity filter kicking in.
12) Because we haven't written that plot yet.
13) By 2083, unless I'm dead by then, in which case I can't say.

If devils are misogynistic, how come all their high priests and rulers of devil worshipping countries seem to be women?
Because humans don't understand devils.
ALSO: Abrogail II is not really a devil worshiper. She and her house see devils and hell as tools that humans who are powerful enough can bend to their will. For Abrogail II, the fact that hell is mysogynistic (which isn't something a lot of people on Golarion understand, to be honest) is only proof to her that Hell is bitter about the fact that she's in charge of Cheliax.
Also, men are jerks.

I’m making a bard character for PFS, is half elf a good choice? Should I go for an 18 on charisma at first level or will a 16 see me through?
Half elf is always a good choice, and an 18 charisma is better than a 16.
But when it comes down to it, as long as you aren't playing a dwarf, you're doing it right.

I was trying to run a horror themed game the other night, when one of my players asked a question on raising goats and suddenly the session devolved into comedy. How should I have gotten things back on track?
By throwing your Mountain Dew at the bad player's face, then as the table got quiet, you stand up slow and pick up a pencil and hold it like a knife and ask in a calm but serious voice, "OH... so NOW you're scared? Good. We can continue."

I have been running Shackled City for one of my groups since early 2004, they are almost finished The Demonskar Legacy. Should I just give up and switch to PFRPG and Golarion?
If the group's still having fun, no.
If the group is NOT having fun, yes. But only after you TPK them with Nabthataron.

It’s 10.40am on a Sunday, sun is shining outside, I am on my computer posting inane questions. At this point, should I give up on actual human interaction and not bother getting dressed or combing my hair?
