Sorry, too late... You'll always be Jason to me. ;P
BTW, finally finished getting Issac's initial character profile finished, and I think the backstory has gotten all squared away. Should make for some interesting plot twists since [we'll learn that] Issac's the one who has effectively been running Port Eldarion since Governor Gwiniel Taurion was killed. :D

Sorry I wasn't able to move the story along this weekend, everyone. I was ridiculously busy running all over town shopping for recliners yesterday, and today I had to rearrange ALL of the furniture in my downstairs to accommodate it... Then I got a call and found out I had to cover a shift for someone on the west coast... While all of my wires, adapters, etc. were tangled up in a 4-ft diameter heap on the floor. >.>
Fortunately, the Party Matrix is completely updated now, and in working with Cam on Issac, I've figured out some cool additional sub-plots. :)

Hello Alexander! Nice to meet you! :)
Hey Cam! Looking forward to seeing what mayhem will ensue. I'm Victoria btw in case elf hasn't already made that apparent to any others involved.
Nice avatar pic Cam. None quite matched my character's actual looks...but then that is the portrait artist in me talking. Alas...I'll never like it unless I can draw it myself.

Here's a recap from the start of the campaign to this time last year:
Recap: Chapter 1
It's going to take me some time to put together a recap of what all has happened since last Christmas. Jason, Eric. do you recall if I wrote another recap when Darvesch joined?
At any rate, I'm busy updating the campaign's Table of Contents right now. In case you don't know, the very first link in the header atop your character sheets link to the TOC. There you'll find posts that I thought might be memorable, or meaningful. Generally, I try to include some keywords in the snarky, animé-title-style descriptions so that you can do a Ctrl+F to look for info on the page.
No that we're entering the next chapter of the story, I'll be creating a new TOC page since the current one is already well over 400 entries long. :)

Ohh! I can recap!
So.. here's what happened:
They were on a boat. They crashed. Giants captured them. Then I came on another boat. And I crashed too, with my cousin. We were captured. Cousin was sacrificed. I broke free. Rescued everyone. I was naked, got my axe. Killed giants. Got dressed. Ran around the island. Killed everything. It's all dead now. Then there were the mushroom people. And their mushroom god. Our ally died saving me. But he came back. He's mostly elf now. Then you came. The end =)
Not that hard! lmao =D

OK, it took all day but I've finished indexing the last 600 posts into the Table of Contents
Please Note: If you are ever trying to find a reference to something that has happened previously, the Table of Contents lists should be your first stop. More likely than not, it will prove faster than using the search function on Paizo.com. This is the chief reason why I'm able to link people to relevant parts of the story when they ask, that's why it's not really optional as to whether or not it gets updated every few hundred posts...
Now to start on a recap that covers not just what has already happened but why. :P
BTW, I'm planning to break up the TOC by chapter at some point. When I do so, I will list the chapters on the main 'Campaign Info' tab so that we can keep using the existing list for the current chapter without needing to update everyone's character sheets.

Phew! Well it took most of the day, but I finally finished getting Nimniel statted-up. If I had to describe her in one word, she's FAST! :D
NPC: Nimniel Aldarien

BTW, since Lip Reading isn't particularly easy-to-find in the rules (or even the FAQ on Paizo.com), I've consolidated them on the wiki here: Linguistics.

Jason: Just so you know, a launch isn't some tiny rowboat. They're what George Washington used to cross the Delaware, or what you'd set out in from a whaling ship.

Alright guys, let's hold up so that Tyralor has a chance to reply. I think we've gone past the point now where we could reasonably expect that he and Alis would have merely been having a private executive dialog session.
Vic: When you've gotten the house settled again, etc., feel free to retroactively insert anything that he and Alis would have discussed. Then you can have him respond on the parapets after Darv bolted for the doors, and again when you [presumably] reach the courtyard a few moments after Lureene and Alis.

Sorry guys! I finally got to my destination late last night (after 10 hours of travel and a full two days of tearing down the booth and packing stock and my possessions into my RV) only to discover that they had lost our reservation (though they had certainly taken our money)!!!! 0_0
We ended up staying out on a roadside with all of the slides pulled in (verrrrrry cramped) , no power, no water, my son unable to sleep in his bed and no heat (below freezing temps) and therefore no internet, Thankfully, both of the smaller rigs who took what was meant to be our spot left before noon today so we got the Rv all set up and thus...I had no internet up until just a few hours ago.
In game time though, Tyralor was only quiet for a matter of seconds when he was in pain.... while in the real world his player was very busy and stuck waiting until she could finally post. I apologize for any delay to gaming enjoyment this pause of mine caused any of you.
Anyway, DM said the other warships will take some time to get to us, my ship is nearby, I have something up my sleeve and it would have only been a few moments to cover what T said to Alis etc. In fact, I am sure it took no more than about twenty seconds to say. Hence, we are only about two or three minutes further along in the plot after all is said and done.

Yep still have about an hour before the galley draws night. It might have been a lot of posts, but if you consider that internal monologue happens at the speed of thought, and that the dialog takes only as long to say it, Vic's spot on on the time assessment.
Anyway, I'm expecting that things will be slow over Christmas weekend. Pretty sure we've all got stuff going on so I'm not concerned with setting any speed records here.
Nice post btw V. :)
