I got a tier 1-2 table with seven players at GenCon. Snooze...
I look forward to bringing down the thunder on a tier 10-11 table. Problem is we have more tier 10-11s than you think. At least two tables of them. I need something with a lot of patience and good-natured suffering to take on the other tier 10-11 table. Well, well. What's crawling past my table? That looks some sort of Scrambling Ribbler. I can use one of those on...Table 38!!! (Only 'cause Kyle is acting as Overseer GM and has been released from Table 38 for this slot.)

I will be super-excited on Saturday at 9:30AM when dozens of players start to fill the ballroom. I will also be super-excited on Sunday at 6PM when I am packing up my car and experiencing the post-convention euphoria that leads me to volunteer to do it all over again next year. I will also be super-excited when all my far-flung GMs arrive safe and sound.

Five events have sold out in pre-reg (actually several more than that but I added more tables), and overall there have been 157 tickets sold as of last night. We should double that in walk-ons when the convention opens Nov 12. I'll be really psyched if we can run more tables than we did at Origins this year.

I will be super-excited on Saturday at 9:30AM when dozens of players start to fill the ballroom.

Um, captain-my-captain. The, convention, starts on Friday. ...

So the tables are going to be empty on Friday. . . .

You're not arriving till Saturday ...

You took off your Headband of Headband of Mental Superiority +6. . . .

You lost all your dice (marbles) . . .

:-)

Shhhhh don't poke the bear .. we'll just tip-toe around him and maybe he won't notice that we're playing on Friday... wait ... does this mean we'll get to have our way with the convention?

I merely meant that I expect the highest player turnout on Saturday.

Soooo tempting! If I wasn't going to be out of town the weekend after I'd be there for sure. But maybe I can pull a Friday.

Please! Last weekend I played 'til 11PM, drove home & got up at 3AM, drove 200 miles to Hamilton, Ontario, ran three slots of PFS, then got in the car & drove back home 200 miles after midnight. I'll grant you the time change is a kick in the nutz.

And I got to run into Mark from Indianapolis who had come to the con because of one of the guest artist.

Don't you have to be tall enough to ride roller coasters in order to qualify to work security? ;)
