Weird Question: Paizo Product List in Order of Publication?

Paizo General Discussion

I'm a collector at heart but have a limited budget with which to do so. I prefer to buy things in the order they were originally published but most companies don't keep very careful track of that sort of thing.

Is there a list of Paizo products available in publication order? If so, where might I find such a thing?

I have the Pathfinder core book and my next purchase is going to be the Pathfinder Bestiary but beyond that I'm a little lost and would prefer to simply start at the beginning and work my up. :D

Would you prefer to begin when we first started publishing the Pathfinder RPG, or do you want to go all the way back to our 3.5 Pathfinder products?

All the way back would be most excellent, if that's possible. :D I was a Dragon subscriber from about 250 all the way up to 359, but didn't transition my subscription over and didn't come back to the Paizo fold until the Pathfinder RPG core book came along.

Thank you very much.

If you want to be pedantic, the first products we did that included elements that would later make their way into Pathfinder were the Compleat Encounter line, a series of metal miniatures, maps, and adventure cards that worked together to create a cool encounter area. The two with the most significant impact upon Golarion, the Pathfinder world, are Vault of the Whispering Tyrant and Throne of the Gorilla King.

Then came the GameMastery Modules line (now called Pathfinder Modules), which started with Hollow's Last Hope, a Free RPG Day offering (and also still a free PDF) and Crown of the Kobold King.

These adventures are listed, in order of publication, <url=http://paizo.com/pathfinder/modules/35E>here</url>.

A short while later, we launched Pathfinder Adventure Path, which started with #1.

Shortly after that, we launched campaign setting products under the Pathfinder Chronicles line (these are now called Pathfinder Campaign Setting). The first real overview of the world was in the Pathfinder Chronicles Gazetteer, which was later expanded into the Pathfinder Campaign Setting hardcover.

Some while after that, we launched the Pathfinder Player Companion. All of the products listed in that section of the website are listed in order of publication.

In August we launch Pathfinder Tales, our new fiction line, with Prince of Wolves, by Dave Gross. You can get in on those at the ground floor. :)

Thanks for the info. :D

Do you guys keep a record of original publication dates for your products?

PathfinderWiki lists each product's month and year of release in the product infobox on each page. You can also see each product line in full (sortable by release date) such as the Pathfinder Modules line. They're sortable by title, author, or release date.

Ah, excellent. Merci.

I've asked all of my employees to pick an avatar that is unique to them by the end of this year. There has been some confusion when people have pretended to be an employee, even if it was only in good humor. A Paizo employee should be able to be identified by their particular avatar, and Erik's previous one was used by too many people for him to take that as his unique one. Thus the new avatar.

You can still have Erik Mona day. Just use his old avatar. His new avatar has one eye also. Trust me, it will work out just fine. :)

So it will be more like ... us being Mona ... and Mona being ... UBERMONA ! Ha. Erik Mona, overlord of Monaland, holy prophet of Monaism, in his one-eyed glory.

Eh. That Avy doesn't do Mona justice. Let Crystal, N'wah, Callous Jack, or Hugo whip out something more tributable to his one-eyed awesomeness and prepubescent facial shrubbery adorning his chin. :P

Lisa, thanks for doing the right thing and protecting the one-eyedness of certain employees' avatars. I'm glad to report that according to my records, this maintains your perfect record.

Urizen: Really? I think it's a great choice.
