They smell like Canada, and thus like a car freshener.

Busy morning, but I had a thought I needed to post on. Just thought I'd share.

Also, if you haven't seen it, check out my daughters' Girl Scout Cookie "commercial". It's a hoot. ;)

Have a great day, FAWTLs!

I will have to wait until this upcoming friday to see about getting cookies- I am going for dental work on Wednesday, and I want to make sure I'm going to be able to eat them(as well as have money for them as I get paid on Friday).

W00T!! Congrats guys!

That first year can be a doozy, and I hope you two have many, many more years together. Any big plans to celebrate this milestone?

We're going out to a nice restaurant tonight. Can't wait.

Yesterday was our fourth, but dinner got postponed due to a death in the family so the funeral took precedence yesterday. We're down here in Cincy for the weekend and as I'm typing this, she's out getting her hair done. I'm guessing it'll be Indian cuisine this evening. Fortunately for us, her parents love our dog so they won't feel that he's infringing on their activities.

On the bright side, since I shaved yesterday morning, I won't have to this evening. Schweet!

You're welcome. That and I sincerely agree 100% so I felt like I was simply the choir. :)

Okay, I won't mention to her I think Cincy is a soul sucking hive of tyranny predicated on the concept that different is wrong and that a delusional perception of history some how makes the city superior to the rest of the state.

Of course, not all of the city is that way. I have known some great people in Cincy. But what good is an irrational belief if you can't indulge in a little hyperbole now and again? :)

No, I flew. It's only a long weekend, so we had to be expeditious.

Color me jealous. :) Have a great weekend.

Today was decent. After three years of never getting around to it, I signed up for a martial arts class, and today was the first session. It felt good, but it was readily apparent that I was the worst person in the beginners' group.

Yesterday, on the other hand...

Uh...Is it wrong for me to say that that sounds like a completely normal conversation to me?
Yeah, that's pretty wrong.

I don't know...sounds pretty normal to me.

Why does everyone keep saying that?!?

Actually, I was talking about Eldritch.

Spoiler:

As a point of concession, she has indicated that it would be difficult for us to relocate to Cincy because we're neither conservative or catholic. That and the job market pay toward females are quite the disparity in pay versus what she can gather in Columbus. She's 36. Since being here in Columbus since May '08, she has since seen her pay increased by $20k/year as of this year.

Ironically, she's working at a faith based company and both of us are atheists. She's trying to get me to apply. "Hey, those Jesus Purses are paying the bills." :P

LOL. Thanks, FHDM. We're pretty happy with the girls' creative endeavor, but we're biased.

Cookies officially go on sale tomorrow, but we can work out the details at your convenience. We also will take donations for the following options via PayPal:

1. Operation Thin Mint - Official Girl Scout sponsored program that sends cookies to deployed servicemembers. We will provide you with a receipt for taxes.

2. USS Boxer - The ship I'm is on, which will deploy in several weeks although thankfully I'm detaching prior.

3. Ronald McDonald House San Diego - the girls know the story of how my wife lived there for 3 1/2 months after they were born and in the NICU. Although that was in San Francisco, we see the San Diego house every visit to Children's Hospital. For us that means about twice a month!

Spoiler:
email for PayPal is: niverian@gmail.com

If your looking for any particular mini, let me know. I patrol enough websites looking at prices I should be able to get you a good deal.

Thanks, Jeremy. I'm going to need to lay low again for awhile, as the wife is doing the taxes and casting an eye over expenses.

The place sounds really good in the reviews. Too bad they don't have a website. We went to Nobu for our new year's meal last week (they waited until I was completely well), which reminded me of the difference between good dining and fine dining.

It's absolutely ridiculous. Back when I still lived (full-time) with my mother, I saved just about every penny I made, and collected a respectable amount. Now, even though I still work when I'm on break, the amount of money I make ($8.50 per hour, 40 hours per week) is much less than what I spend. By my calculations, if gas and food prices get any higher than they are now, I'll be shit broke by the end of the year.

It's a kick in gonads alright, and I think it's going to get quite a bit worse. I think utilities are going to get worse too. Rental prices are going up in this region too, and it getting harder to finance homes.

I have friends with masters degrees and PhDs who are out of work.

Cheap, if your looking for something specific I can keep an eye out and notify you if I see something. If I see some good bundles I'll let you know CJ. But as for cheap prices outside the occasional good ebay offer I find auggies has the best prices on minis.

Well, we borrowed the tune from Cee Lo Green's "Forget You" (that's the clean version of the song). I doubt Ms. Spears will have much interest in it, since our version doesn't involve sex, drugs or poor child-care decisions. ;)

The place sounds really good in the reviews. Too bad they don't have a website. We went to Nobu for our new year's meal last week (they waited until I was completely well), which reminded me of the difference between good dining and fine dining.

Until the next Nordstrom's binge.

Incidentally, Mindy went there for the first time last week. Uggs. It was the sound I made when I saw the receipt. Then she said something like 'you haz Paizo subz' to which I promptly STFU. ;-)

See my financial discussions with husband usually go like this.

Me: I just ordered $500 of minis online
Husband: Are the bills paid?
Me: Yup
Husband: Then it's your money do what you want, you don't need to run it by me.

Little known fact about Paris.

Many years ago after a drunken binge in France the local government built a massive life sized model of his cock. They then named the city after the man.
