It's been an interesting few hours, that it has. Still, volanic soil is extremely fertile, you can't get beautiful gardens without a truckload of horsecrap, etc.

Busy weekend. Under the weather Friday night, so I bowed out of the weekly HS football game. Saturday was filled with my daughter's Sweet 16th BDay party. Sunday was football watching and our family dinner out for said bday.

Busy is good but boy do I need a nap! Too bad I still have to cover for the boss' vacation.

Hope all is good with you all.

Sweet 16!!!!

Growing up fast, huh?

Please extend belated birthday wishes.

Also, hope you're feeling better.

Still time. Her actual bday is tomorrow. Saturday was just party day, and the bday dinner got upped due to her busy weekday schedule. Pheww, that was a lot of 'splainin'

Yes, on the growing up too fast. I liked her better before the teenage years.

And medically, I'm still stuck on the healing plateau. Bleh.

Workwise, swamped, which is both good and bad. :)

Happy birthday to your daughter! My daughter turns 14 a week from Friday. I'm bridging the gap between greatest person in the world and someone to tolerate (barely). All part of growing up and making one's own way, I suppose. Still it kinda sucks.

Keep recovering. You don't have the illegal drugs to fall back on like certain rockers. :)

That wasn't difficult to do under 3.5. :p

I haven't read the entire thread yet to see if there is resolution, so excuse if I am late to the party.

If it is wide open then you definitely want to look into Bo9s or something like the dervish example above. No use playing something core when the campaign is likely more combat than roleplaying.

It's still wide open, but that's what I've been trying to grasp. Always open to suggestions.

Made mine. These arguments were old the last time we merry-go-rounded the mulberry bush with them. I've no urge to get Trolltrek: The Next Generation up to speed.

Have fun with them, I called the dingus out early on that thread and with that I'm done =P

Good gravy! Will this damnable rain ever stop?

On the upside both kids were good in school and the little one was awesome for me today so I sprung for ice cream and fixins to treat them with banana splits. I am now a Bestest Daddy Ever according to Arden. :D

I'm planning on picking up the "S" powerup on my way out the door so I can turn my bike into a Submersible in order to get to Manhattan.

Actually that's not the moon talking to you. What we know as the moon has actually been hollowed out and turned into a hidden stellar fortress by humans who have been genetically altered to gain the traits of telepathy, advanced intellect, and accelerated healing. For many years, they've been content to leave us be, watching in amusement as we descended into a spiral of madness and destruction. But ever since we visited the moon and increased our space travel capability, they've begun to realize we could eventually be a threat. Now they are communicating with their chosen agents (i.e. you) in order to encourage you to turn against the rest of humanity and aid them in their conquest of Earth.

I, for one, welcome our new Moonie masters.

Yes, yes we are. I'm looking forward to taking on the undersea version of the Yeti due to all of this rain. I can only hope I find a ring of free movement or underwater action so I can fight the beast and win.

I am cloning all over the place today. Soon, my clone army will move on to defeat the meddling Jedi and I will rule the former Republic with an iron fist.

Just don't watch the movie version of this story, it will get it all wrong.

Awright folks. Time to pick up that glowing blue ball with an "S" on it to turn my bike into some kind of torpedo launching submarine and head into manhattantown. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the CoT game. Here's hoping I arrive only mostly damp instead of partially drenched...

October is looking to be a really good month. I am actually planning on going to a haunted house this year, I haven't been to one since I was 10, this time with a certain someone. and of course I turn 25 near the end of the month so this is looking to be a very good month.
