Glad to hear that Mrs Zombie is doing well. I know its disappointing to be told 'today is the day!' and then get put off. But he will be here very soon! Tell her we are thinking of her please.

Did you guys ever get the changing table?

Truth to tell, I'm actually pretty calm. Almost stoic.

It is rather frustrating, but I'm thinking more for my wife than me. To be stuck in that room, pretty much lying in bed the whole time, is slowly driving her mad. MAD I TELL YOU!

And, no, we still haven't gotten a changing table. Luckily, we've got the changing station on the PackNPlay to tide us over for now. I'm thinking we'll get some kind of dresser/shelves at just the right height, and set the changing pad thing on top. It'll just be a matter of matching the other furniture in color. That's what my wife wants.

I was good except for the epidural, something about if they screw this up it would be bad got to me.

Damn it kid roll over when I have the camera on you.:)

And the PackNPlay changing table works great for the first month or so anyway.

Gun Laws? As long as you are legally allowed to own one, then own one. Not sure about travling with them though...since each state is different
Travelling with guns caused a lot of drama up here in NY not too long ago. I would be very careful if you are carrying firearms between states.
How's that work? Was there some sort of checkpoint set up? I've driven between New York and Vermont, and New York and Pennsylvania with a gun in the car, and had zero problem.
Well, I can tell you that they've(the cops) set up something in front of my apartment building. Once every few weeks, they do regular pull overs searching for guns and drugs. Drives my wife nuts because the angle of the flashing lights keeps her up at night.

Isn't that illegal?

I mean, I ain't passed the bar, but I know a little bit--enough that they ain't gonna illegally search my s!*&.

As Moorluck pointed out, justifiable cause. My place is right off the belt parkway, and one of three exits that are very popular with people running guns and drugs. Besides, they're primarily looking for the dumb ones who are driving around without license and registration. They've been a lot better/more courteous with it in recent years, and that everyone is still looking for a missing child(been gone for almost a year now) in the vicinity makes things go that much smoother.

Think The Prophecy for the CG generation. I thought it was okay, although I was disappointed in the lack of character in the characters, the only one I gave a s%@~ about was the teen tramp. :/
That movie had the chick who's going to play the new Wonder Woman on TV.
You mean womder woman meets gilmore girls?? I will pass thank you.

I'm willing to give it a chance now that I know Whedon is not touching it. And gilmore girls was good for about a season and a half.

That last would do it.

That's awesome. The meeting up with everyone part, not the working on Sunday part.

The swelling in Mrs. Zombie's legs started to abate after a round of blood thinners, giving the doctors some hope that the C-section could be moved up to Monday. They simply awaited the results of the latest test before making a decision. Meanwhile, Aberzombie had a complete mental breakdown, becoming convinced he was actually a basketball. Luckily, there was a nice corner for him to sit down in, drool, and babble incoherently.

One of these days I am going to have to get off my monkey azz and navigate the bureaucratic morass of the People's Republic of Massachusetts and get me my Zombie Shotgun.

It's only a matter of time after all...

What is your preference? I enjoyed the Remington 870's that I owned very much, and I very much like my Mossberg 590. The bayonet could be handy in the forth coming troubles.

Alas, I have little experience with firearms, save the M16A2 I used very infrequently in the Army (Journalists usually didn't carry one about as a rule, so I only got to use it once a year to requalify). A shotgun with a bayonet sounds like the ticket though ...

Drill Sgt: WHAT MAKES THE GREEN GRASS GROW!?!

Chorus: BLOOD! BLOOD MAKES THE GREEN GRASS GROW!!!

Drill Sgt: WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE BAYONET!?!

Chorus: TO KILL! TO KILL! TO KILL WITHOUT MERCY!!!

I assume this has to do with giving each PC time to make a decision before they get passed to the next on the initiative list, right? If so, what's the difference between the 1-min and 3-min hourglasses?

I remember there was one they wouldn't let us sing any more, but someone told me the lyrics ..

Gruesome Army humor:

Spoiler:
Napalm,
Sticks to kids!
Watch them sizzle
Watch them fizz!

Never heard it sung in public, so it could be someone funning me. But there were a lot of raunchy lyrics before the PC police caught up with the Army.
