Preposterous!
Everyone knows girls can't do math.
Oh! Good! That's a relief. If I could only remember that more often...

I just got home. On the bright side, my yearly free credit report came in and no sketchy activity there. Whew.
Now I have to make potatoes for a potluck at work tomorrow - since our Friday game isn't on. Which reminds me, I need to cancel officially so stragglers don't show up...
Guess I can use the time to work on Kingmaker some...oh! Wait! I shouldn't waste my time, since everyone knows girls can't GM.

I'm pretty sure Puffin meant no insult towards his fellow FaWTL.

I guess we'll split them between us, you take the "Gi" and I'll take the "normous"?

I watched Monsters & Aliens today as I sat recovering from lecturing. Ginormaka. Heh!
Mothman: As far as the Russ Nicholson pic goes, I got it off his website, so maybe the original was color? Or maybe he colored it later? Anyway, it's obvious is totally screwed up and gave it a left hand for its right hand. Not the worst piece of old skool art, but it made my point for me.

I found one of her on DA that was a bit on the "cheescake" side but was funny as all get out, I'll have to see if I can find it tomorrow. But I love M vs A, one I don't mind the kids watching.

Yummy! Cookies!
Sorry for the silliness earlier, folks. Well...okay, not sorry.
However, I did NOT intend my nonsensicals to reference anything specific. And I definitely didn't mean to mock that poor reporter covering the Grammy awards. I just heard about that story this afternoon, as a matter of fact. I guess it turns out she had some form of "complex migraine" that can mimic a stroke. Scary.
For some reason, I often find non-sequitur or unintelligible outbursts to otherwise normal statments very funny. (For examply, I find Gir from Invader Zim hilarious...most of the time.)
That said, I'm also happy to report that I have been safely and properly relieved of my duties on USS BOXER and will be reporting to my new duty station next week, prior to going on leave for a few weeks of R&R, which will include a trip to Vienna, Austria with my wife!

Naw, didn't think you were mocking her, just thought it was a coincidence. Thanks for the update on her condition. The last I'd heard, they didn't know what was going on. It's interesting to hear it's a migraine. Mild aphasia is one of my little pre-migraine warning indicators, but I did not realize it was a known thing. Just thought it was what I got instead of auras. My dad went blind in one eye for a few hours from a migraine, which was really scary. Brains is weird.
Congratulations on your wrapup of the USS BOXER assignment, and good luck at your next post. Belated congratulations on the promotion, too, Commander! :)

Cool. Very strange coincidence, though. Wow.
Sorry that your migraines cause such complications, too. :/
And thanks! I'm very happy to be moving on to something new. BOXER was a good tour, but it's nice to have a change. And the higher pay that comes with my new rank is nice, too. :D

Yay! My tax return hit. I can now pay some bills and Karen and I can go on our honeymoon in New Orleans.
~whistles~ My. How quickly it goes. ~shrugs~ Oh well. At least I am now caught up and solvent again. Plus the Honeymoon in New Orleans will be paid for. ~chuckles~ But, all of my cut went to getting our bills caught up and some of them paid off.

Yeah, you’re probably right actually.
My sideburns get a bit muttonchoppy sometimes anyway. Did deliberately go for the muttonchop look once a few years back, but it didn’t really work. Maybe if I wore a tweed or cord jacket with patches at the elbows, and thicker rimmed glasses ...
You have your costume for your next fancy dress party sorted. :-)

Why thank you, I am secure enough in my manhood to say that you too scrub up to be a rather dashing young chap and man about town.
The funny thing is when I loose my early settler/Gimili look my kids freak out and take a day or so to get used to my beardless mug. The first time our 3 year old saw my shaved face she cried and wouldn't come near me.... it made me a bit sad.

Last time I got a bug up my ass and shaved off my fine example of a porn star moustache, my neighbor's daughter came up to my wife-
"Who's that?"
"Honey, that's Niel, my husband. You've met him."
"Are you sure?"

I laugh at you people who post in there. LAUGH.
AHAHAHAHAHA! You should also have a beer and burrito, that'll probably settle you down. Also, I have Tabasco sauce.
There's a reason a guy with double honors steers the vessel completely away from there. It's more volatile than soaking a tampon in Frank's hot sauce and lighting its fuse.

Honeymoon in New Orleans sounds marvelous! I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful time.
(The best Thanksgiving I've ever had was when I ran away to NOLA with some friends one year. Loved it.)
