I can't do rare, but I always try to go with medium rare. Chefs give you the best cut of meat if you ask for medium rare...they figure you won't be able to taste the difference if you go with any thing more than medium.

It's higher alcohol content than beer. It's somehow sweet and bitter at the same time. Complex taste. Couldn't have it all the time, but interesting every once in a while.
