I just glanced at it. It made me realize I miss Hennet.
What?
Hennet always looked like he was on his way to a gay club.
No shirt? Check.
Leather pants? Check.
Expensive hair product? Nice and spikey.

He did. I always assumed he knew something about those dungeons the rest of his party didn't.
In truth, I always really liked Kerwyn. But as rogue iconics go, what's her name always got more face time.

Ha!
Yeah, you’re probably right actually.
My sideburns get a bit muttonchoppy sometimes anyway. Did deliberately go for the muttonchop look once a few years back, but it didn’t really work. Maybe if I wore a tweed or cord jacket with patches at the elbows, and thicker rimmed glasses ...

I really wish I could just work on my math homework tonight. It's soothing. I need soothing. Instead I have to try to study for A&P exam and work on geology. Hoping the prof is in a lenient mood since my week just went kerplooie. :(
I thought all the A&P's closed years ago. ba da bing!

I appreciate the fact that the weather is warmer now, but when the weather changes temperature at extremes in a short period of time, my allergies / sinuses / congestions act up. I'm hoping I can knock it out temporarily as I need to take an assessment test to see where my english and math skills are at so I can enroll in the appropriate classes according to my aptitude.

I don’t know; trolls is trolls.
Still, some of the recent trolls do seem to have a bit of a theme going.
I am getting really, really annoyed at the reoccurring implication in these discussions that any women who dress in a revealing fashion must be prostitutes, porn models or sluts. No. Just no.
Also the thing that keeps coming up that large, firm, rounded breasts must be fake. To be fair, they often are, but I have had first hand evidence that someone can have breasts that look like that without them being fake (ok, so I don’t actually have Exhibit A and Exhibit B to hand anymore as it were alas ...). People need to broaden their horizons and accept that there is a broader world outside their own insulated experience.

I personally don't have a conniption as to whether they're real or fake. I'll admire them just the same.
Everyone will have their arguments as to why they may not enjoy certain revealing art and we can agree to disagree. But I'm with you; assuming that they're prostitutes, porn models, or sluts are a bit too much. The average tricks I've seen turning on the city streets look nothing of the kind. :P

There was plenty he changed in LotR, they still came out great. And if you think about it for a minute, there are exactly zero female characters in the book, other than a few background characters. And unfortunately having a romantic subplot is nearly required these days.
The way I see it, PJ had two choices, well three if you count leave it alone, but we already knew he wasn't going to do that.
1) Create a love story for one of the existing characters, which would have required changing a ton of the actual story.
2) Create a love story for a character that wasn't in the original book at all. Requiring no more rewriting than the inclusion of the character in the first place.

Thanks! The missus picked up some cold meds on the way home, so I'm going to become a pumpkin soon and get up at a decent hour and get the whole testing out of the way tomorrow morning. It also doesn't help I'm allergic to all the animals that I have, so I managed to open up some of the windows to let the house air out.

Finally used my valentine's day present (gift cert for amazon) to buy some new books. mostly frothy silly stuff, but also one really expensive one that's for school. I hate spending half my gift on an assignment, but it had to be done. At least it's a cool book. It's about fossil molecules. :)
I've been using Amazon a lot lately. It also helps that when I buy gift cards at the grocery store, the purchases go towards points that takes cents off at the gas pumps the following month.
There is one book I've had my eye on, but it is cost prohibitive at the moment. Only a couple of people here, I suspect, will appreciate the prestige in owning this book in certain circles.

The only females you could theoretically run into are 1)Arwen, since they do go to the house of Elrond 2)Galadriel since she is part of the White council whereupon Gandalf leaves the party and travels to the northern Mirkwood to confront the Necromancer, which none of them know is in fact Sauron, net yet the great eye but just a shadow. 3)Well they run into tons of Forest Elves in SouthernMirkwood, where we can also have Legolas, since he is actually the prince of the realm. A female Elf here would not be out of place and since they send an Army to the Battle of the five Armies she can show up at the end, to the big fight after the death of Smaug. 4) Any number of ladies could be in and around Laketown.
I guess I am nitpicking, for when I write it out I could see it being a minor character that done subtly could bring another perspective from the films without drawing away from the whole.
PJ also said at some point, but I am sure they changed their minds again, that part of the movies would be the quest to find Gollum, if so this means they can also have Aragorn, since he was instrumental in this regard. Of course I think he might have been part of the white council too, so that would also allow for the actor to be there, or rather a younger version of him.

DO NOT ASSUME YOU KNOW WHAT I BELIEVE AND MAKE ACCUSATIONS WITH THAT IN MIND!
And to suggest I take a stupid dumb-ass, online quiz to find out what I believe -- when the first question doesn't even have an option for what I believe (and knowing how these things work, choosing "none of the above" would give a poor or wrong result)...
I think that there is little I hate more than someone who feels that they can speak for me -- yet don't have a clue.
Damn, I'm pissed.
