My mom was a librarian. Well, actually she was a library director, but same idea. She always had the best stories about some of the crazy people that worked at or came into the library. Like it was some kind of magnet for crazy. :)Glad I'm getting out of the office for lunch, and that it's Friday. There must be something in the air lately, 'cause I feel more a babysitter than a supervisor, the way folks have been acting this week.As a supervisee who sometimes acts this way, I can understand your pain. :)Twice this week, I've had to sit someone down for a conversation on the level of, "While you are on these premises, you may not touch your coworkers or their belongings without their consent".
(Not exactly the issue in either case, but on the same level of WTF-itude. All I can say is, "Aargh!")

And mostly I love my job, but I'm pretty introverted, so being a supervisor requires constant effort and communication, because my natural instinct is to hole up in my office and get stuff done. :)

I come back, and Urizen is naked, we have a new FaWTLie (welcome, Lindisty!), and Sharoth is getting married (congrats!)
By the way, when I came out of my badger den, I couldn't see my shadow, so I mauled the next door neighbor, and went back inside. I think that means 8 more weeks of winter. (Sorry, Northeast)

I inherited a cat when I married my wife, and she became "my" cat (or more accurately, I became "her" person). When she passed away, I made the mistake of going into work the next morning. Luckily, I was able to go the test lab where I could be alone. :(

According to my list, there's 8 folks in the FAWTLY folder. Me, Amby, Taig, CrimJ, Flash, the Puffin, Treppa, and Allen. PM me and let me know which account you're using and I'll toss you an invite (as I'm the one that created the folder) and you should see all the subfolders branched from it.
You probably have another invite, so just ignore the one I sent.

Whoah WHOAH! You're getting married in the next 60 days? Actual wedding? JOTP? I feel like I'm at a loss of info. Details!~chuckles~ Well, it is a bit less than 60 days. We will be getting married at the Davneport House Museum courtyard at 5:30 pm on 2-14-2011. It is just a ten minute ceremony, but it is still a nice place. After that, we will be meeting some of my friends at the Crystal Beer Parlor for a little get together.

Between the Marrage Certificate, the clothes that Karen just bought, my wedding ring, and paying my tax lady to do my taxes... Well, I can see why I am without any cash until my taxes come in. ~sighs~ Even then, i doubt much will be left over after all the bills and other stuff. On the plus side, once taxes hit, I will be back to almost a paycheck ahead on my bills instead of almost a paycheck behind.
