Back in my day we called that "The Date Rape Song". If you ask me Dino's being a bit too persistent.

Damn straight.

What would really be meta would be to show it all day tomorrow.

Why am I hearing Rollins singing that?

I think I've adopted his speech patterns.

Also, this calls for a new version of "Liar," entitled "Liar II: The f!#@ing Weather Channel".

You could totally pull off a Youtube spoof of Liar only making it about weather forecasters like you say. There you are with a TV behind you showing a weatherman pointing to a snowstorm graphic moving into your area. You're standing barechested, donned in a big fluffy winter hat, with sweat dripping down your hate face as you hold up a redlining thermometer and scream, "Because YOU'RE A LIAR!"

I would do that, save for the fact that no one wants to see me barechested. All pasty grubflesh and bad tattoos.

If I'm gonna be stuck inside, it might as well snow. I'd love some snow.

Would you prefer they use gnomes instead?

Okay, originally, it was that if he sees his shadow, we have six more weeks of winter. If he didn't see his shadow, it would only be six weeks to spring...

M-hmm.

Not sure what that means...

I always thought that it was ironic when you have this incredibly sad and depressing episode where this guy changes his daughter into some creature that ends up getting killed to put it out of its misery -- and then the closing credits have this super happy Japanese song that's all upbeat and "la la la".

I voted for meanings 1 and 3. In my linguistic communities, it wasn't used sarcastically.

My INSANE day started with 2.5 hours hanging out with a US Forestry & Wildlife officer, sifting through garbage at the Tijuana Slough Wildlife Refuge. Rushed back to the ship for my promotion ceremony, only to find out that Helen couldn't get on base because we let both her ID and car decals expire.

So, in the end, I will be closing the day with a freshly cleaned roadside (courtesy of the jerks who dumped the trash), a new credit card number, new base decals on both cars, and shiny new Commander insignia on my uniform. I suppose all's well that ends well, right? ;-)

In what would be a major shift in direction, Hulu management has discussed recasting Hulu as an online cable operator that would use the Web to send live TV channels and video-on-demand content to subscribers, say people familiar with the talks. The new service, which is still under discussion, would mimic the bundles of channels now sold by cable and satellite operators, the people said.

In the meantime, in other obscure news, they will slowly crush and throttle the rebellion that is Netflix by redirecting and throttling bandwidth traffic to make instant movie watching unbearable.

I think a Sith Lord is behind this.

Took the words right out of my mouth! I was wondering when someone was going to have the eggs to take Netflix on, and I guess its Hulu.

Nope I have been outside in -35 F air temperature with -50 F wind chills. You can survive for quite awhile as long as you have enough layers on, however don't expect you car to start.
