Y'know, I now live 700 miles closer to you than I did just a few weeks back.

Of course, I'm still 10 hours away. :(

Heck, I'm 10 hours away from him.

Which reminds me, you're relocating to somewhere in PA, right?

No, it wwas Archy.

(A friend of mine has a cat named Mehitabel. Every time there's a roach, we joke that it's Archy.)

Except tonight. It was a farewell gathering party for a bunch of folks who are becoming former employees of Max & Erma's. I was out doing a last minute run at Half Price Books during their 20% off and one of the stops happened to be a half mile away, so I dropped in. I pledged to remain civil at this juncture or else an evil eye would've been cast in my direction to which I'd really need to flash the horns to ward protection.

"Mach a feig" for the evil eye; you make a fist wrapped around your thumb in such a way as you'd break your thumb if you punched like that.
I learned about it from Isaac Asimov Presents: Witches.

Uuugh, we had that in a game I really enjoyed too. I show up to play at the normal time, and nobody answers the door. I'd been yelled at for waiting for someone to let me in before, so I let myself in. Then the wife is alone in the house and gives me this weird look. "The game's cancelled." I left, not knowing what was up. A couple weeks later I found out one of the other players was trying to sleep with the wife. I run a forum for my games, and ended up having to go through and delete this guy's attempts to private message the wife through my forum's private messaging system. >:(
I used to game with a group where one of the gamers/wife to another gamer tried to get me to sleep with her. With his blessing. I still consider both of them friends, but I had to leave the group. That was a bit too weird for me.

Have a similar type story except we gamed with the couple and he showed up with the girl he was cheating with and their new baby. half the group wanted to kick his ass right then and there. He thought I would be the one OK with it. Funny I was the one who had a major custody battle with my ex-wife and had to be restrained from killing my "buddy" who had gotten my wife pregnant. I would be the one OK with it. Yeah when he sees me he crosses the street and leaves very quickly these days. We are all still real good friends with his ex-fiance.
Wow! My story's tame compared to those! O.o

Yeah, I will refrain from posting about the ex. The story would just get worse. Of course the guy she cheated on me with tonight told my wife I was better off without her. Freaking moron.

It's a movie that was taken earlier today not far from our house regarding the insane road conditions from the snow we got today.

(Hopefully I won't have to go to work tomorrow.)

Warning -- whoever took the video has a bit of a "potty mouth". Probably won't bother anyone here, but just in case you don't want little ones to hear...

Next time you guys have a blizzard keep it there. We were 70 yesterday and only 40 now and expect 10 tomorrow.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

Of course we don't have any steep hills per se so the driving shoudl be easier here then there. Or that insane Phillips 66 in Woodland Springs where you have a hill to drive up to get to it in the first place. My car at the time could not climb it with the snow.

After two days, the snow has practically melted out here in my neck of the woods with the highs coming into 50's. I'll take it on the last day of the year when it's bound to be amateur hour out there on the roads. The lack of snow and/or ice will be the advantage.

Honestly we have as of yet to have snow. This has got to be, so far anyway, one of the mildest winters around. That being said tonight it is to drop like a fat man on a twinkie.

That is awesome, we almost but chrome lettering across the back of her Durango saying "BADDKITTEN", but we figured it may not be great for when she starts teaching.

What do you guys think about these for a sweet gypsy Dreamspun sorceress? I can't decide whether or not she should have ink. Her basic personality is sweet and innocent(mostly), she's only 16, and raised by an elf. But I like the stars and can't decide if I should add them to her illo.

People who avoid facebook usually have something to hide, perhaps something shameful in their past they'd rather not see filter to the surface. Why else avoid it? Hmmm?

Our journey has begun. We're at the airport, waiting for our flight. Looks like we'll be accompanied by a dog in the cabin. Normally, I wouldn't mind, but this one lets out sonic bursts at random intervals. It literally sounds more like shrieking metal than a dog barking. That's not a sound I want to hear on the plane. ;-)

The stars look good. I would probably downplay them a little bit. As in make them a little smaller they would be great for an illo.

Remarkably similar to yours. No plans but watching bowl games.

My Mother just flew back after spending ten days here and staying at my Bother's place. His place is a fourty mnute drive from mine each way. So, I have been making that drive each way since Tuesday of last week. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of last week also included my thirty minute drive each way to work. :( I'm tired of driving around.

Now, I am just kicking back and enjoying not having to go anywhere while I do some prep for running PF tomorrow.

Taco Dinner, then eating an Easy Bake Oven cake.... Arden wanted to use her "really for real oven" to bake her own birthday cake. She's so excited about being 6, she's "a big girl now you know". :D
