Yeah, if you're willing to eat late. I don't rem if its 11-1 or 11-2. But EB is delish. And their breakfast pizza is pretty crazy too. And their desserts. And $1 mimosas or bellinis.

You should like them runny.
You should like them not runny.+1
Although admittedly, it took time for me to acquire the taste. I never liked egg yolks when I was younger (in any form: runny, hard boiled, whatever).
Dip my toast in runny eggs

Well go ahead and tell them why we were late, honey.

Successfully made it out of my alley last night to get to my hockey game. It only took 2 hours of shoveling by me and my wife. I got to see the collapsed dome, it looked like someone cut the top off. Now back at work.

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Todd's birthday party was a success, despite the fact that most people couldn't remember the event, or how the mule ended up in the attic. Across town, Zack and Miri finally got the greenlight for their new film school. Meanwhile, Ray and Winston were beginning to think that the massive snowstorm hitting the midwest was less a weather phenomenon and more like a plague sent by some moldy, Babylonian....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

I'm back after a bit of a hiatus myself. Internet's back on at work, and I just finished the Darklight Sisterhood game yesterday. Once again, although I've been playing with all female groups since college, I have to say that I am AMAZED by the creativity, insights, hierarchy of needs, and just plain luck of female gamers. Especially when they're in a group. The wife got two 1s on a diplomacy check. The first 1 was overruled by party consensus because it is her birthday this week(completely surprised her with a birthday cake and everything). Then the second 1 came up. We play with the plot twist cards, and my house rule(YAY HOUSE RULES YAY) state that you get to pull a card whenever you roll a 20 or a 1 on a Diplomacy or Bluff check. The card she pulled the second time was "What Are The Odds" which I ruled turned her natural 1 into a natural 20 for the purposes of the check. Now she has an older sugar mommy and a younger sugar daddy who are only all too happy to share her company in-game- perhaps even team up for a 3 way game of parcheesi. Her luck is UNBELIEVABLE, even when it's bad!!!! And one of the other party members entered herself into a blood-pit fighting contest and slaughtered her competition(seven men, vagabonds from the GMG) in two rounds with judicious house-ruled(allowing for diagonals, which I believe is something only spears get normally) use of Great Cleave. 'twas a SLAUGHTER. Other party members either got laid, or are setting up an annoying NPC(and member of the rival Pathfinder Society) for a bloody, bloddy death(which will be used to qualify the person who really wants to kill him for the Assassin PrC, although she is a little short on the requirements).
God, I love this game.

Good morning.
Things are kinda working themselves out.
This morning on the way to work I had my first sighting (and near run-in) with "elderly person on wrong side of the road".
Hey Taig. I saw your comments earlier this weekend, and I think I tried to post but it got eaten. Here's hoping things start an upward trend for you soon.

Thanks Freehold. We're setting up appointments to help figure things out, but this year has been very stressful for everyone in the family.

Finally at work. Shaving by flashlight can be challenging. Been without power at home since yesterday afternoon. DTE cannot provide an 'estimate for repair at this time'.
Seriously considering buying a generator, before my house freezes completely.
That sucks. I hope you get power back soon. And glad you made it to work okay. The roads are nasty out there.

Totally bombed my math final, but the grade is figured by an average, so I should still be okay. First time this year I had to do all of my work on white paper and the dyscalculia was really bad. I did my best considering I couldn't see the problems.
And then aced my last chem test. Bio grades should be posted tonight too so I'll get to see tomorrow how that one went. And right now I'm just grateful to have made it home in one piece. My poor little corolla was slipping and sliding all over the roads. Kidlet loves it though cause no school for him today and he is currently outside making a snowman. :)

I'm just glad you're home safe. I know I'm biased due to the accident I got into, but sliding on the snow and realizing you are not in control of your vehicle is one of the most frightening experiences I have ever had.

Well, it's not a good feeling. But I drive a little plastic car so I am sadly used to it. Even with the trunk loaded up with heavy stuff it still gets blown around by wind way too much. Only car accident I've ever had involves that car sliding into a curb hard enough to destroy my tire rim. I was just lucky that I didn't hit another car. Next time we buy a car (which won't be for quite awhile I hope) I really need something a little more practical for winter driving.

As I posted on Facebook, I'll probably miss the snow (I love the stuff), but the -18 nights I won't be missing.
As for driving in the stuff, I got my start working at a ski resort in High School. We "practiced" drifting on the snow and ice in an empty parking lot in my VW Rabbit. But I agree with Lynora, once I can get rid of my Civic, I'm going to get a Jeep. Always wanted a Jeep...

Naturally, I hate the snow, but love the cold. Which isn't true, actually, as I love the snow, but I hate riding my bike through it or relying on public transportation to get around on snow days. So we are still opposites on this, if only on a technicality.
I'm considering practicing drifting myself, but there are no parking lots with which to do that around here. Even the parking lot by the semi-new Gateway Mall is patrolled by police and private security at night- my friend and his wife were almost given a ticket or arrested or something because they thought that they were using the car for another type of practice.
[EDIT]HA!!!! Nekkid telling embarrasing stories about friends for TOP!!!!
