I get that^ for ToTP ?!?!?

The Exchange

And FB has kicked me out of every group. anything at all I was in I can look at but no longer comment on. I think I am about ready to agree with Freehold on its total evil.

The Exchange

It's a sign. A sign to keep trying for those daughters.

EGADS! BUT...but...technically, isn't it always "before" Christmas? Damn! It's like that whole gremlins eating after midnight thing! Which midnight? What happens if they cross a time zone? Or if they're subjected to light speed?

I'm so confused...

The family rule is there is a moratorium on all non-essential purchases from Thanksgiving to Christmas to allow family members to buy presents that's aren't invalidated by impulse buying.

...

but I want it NOW!

Be strong!

But....is BOOKS!!!

Books I haven't yet inhaled!

Yeah, believe me, I know. But delayed gratification is pretty awesome.

My wife's been feeding me that line for years!

post personal trainer post. I really needed that session. The trainer I had apparently is pretty close to a rehab therapist. Found out that my calf muscles needed kneading loose. I have a week base from my calves to my thighs. Worked about everything I could in that one session. Need to save up for package deal but glad I have a direction to go now. I forgot all about the workout high following a session. More good news I have never had my shoulders this sore form just working out. Sure they got one hell of a workout from Muay Thai but never from weights or resistance bands.

Good on ya, taig! My wife donates regularly, too. I'm very proud of you both.

In other news, I survived (and passed) the latest fitness test. Thanks to all for the good vibes. I'm sure they helped.

Still donating blood.

Did you know that the Red Cross is run completely by Smurfs? What's weird is that they weren't Smurfs when I arrived...

Kinda had a scare! Daddy picked up Arden from school, but was unable to catch me at work before I left. So I ran to get her, got there and...NO ARDEN! Scared me outta my mind! I was 10 seconds away from calling in an Amber Alert!

You should hit Moorluck with a wrench!

A soft, rubber foam wrench, because he doesn't really need a concussion.

Unless he does.

Mooooooo.

Yeah. Now I can relax and laugh a little...but man, I only ever felt like this once before, when I thought I lost Kellen at a dept store. He was 2 and thought it was fun to hide in the clothes. All I did was turn around for a second and the little s$@! hid. I started getting hysterical when he popped out and said peek a boo. :S

Oooh! I used to LOVE hiding inside the clothes racks. Never really thought about how my mom might feel. Of course, part of it may have been payback for having to go shopping with her in the first place. ;)

Hmm.

Grad application awkwardness:
So one of my recommendation letter writers has not gotten her letters in. I told her they needed to be in by the 1st. I asked her if I could be of any help back on the 30th because I was concerned, and she informed me that her father had passed away, but she was still planning on getting the letters in by the 1st. I gave her my sincere condolences and thanked her again. But still no letters. I don't want to be a dick, so I'm not going to contact her yet, but... Gah... Hmm... Just needed to vent - I understand what she is going through is dreadful. But in the back of my mind I'm afraid of this all going down the toilet. Then again, I can't imagine a recommendation letter coming in a few days late makes that much of a difference - they have everything else. Just... Meh.

Hey, I'm home and will be postan for a bit. Here's hoping they pay the cable/internet bill at work tomorrow.

Wasn't a very busy day and for that I'm actually thankful- less to catch up on! I've got a magic item to edit, a Darklight Sisterhood Adventure to write, and a host of NPCs to create at random.

Okay...I find myself puzzled by the girls' test for tomorrow.

They are supposed to know what states border California to the north, east...and south.

North and east are fairly easy...but what the heck are they talking about with a state that borders California to the south?!

I mean, Arizona is "kind of" south...but it's really southeast...of California. Natasha's teacher actually crossed out Arizona as the answer on her homework.

I sincerely hope they aren't expecting us to count Tijuana as an option. :S

Trick question? I'd go with 'none'.

At least I would hope that's the case... it is California.

The Mexican state of Baja California. Otherwise the only option is Hawaii.
