Picking up on an earlier discussion in the thread, I don’t mind people changing things around with their characters if they’re not getting into the concept so much, but I’ve never played in a group where it happens so much as my current group!
Of the four regular players (the campaign has progressed from level 1 through to level 7 at this stage) we had one playing a cleric who retired the character to play a witch about level 4, we had one playing a wizard who later retconned the character to a (Pathfinderized) beguiler, and then retconned back to an enchanter / rogue, and one who started off playing a noble (I think its from some 3rd party 3.5 supplement) who has now retconned the character to a bard / rogue. Only my paladin has remained constant ...
Not a problem, I just find it interesting.

Thomas Tallis wrote no trash. Most of his work is choral. For those who don't care for the lyrics, they might prefer the Latin works to the English. Ave Verum Corpus might be a place to start.

I'd actually heard of the guy before (probably from you, actually...), and I've always dug stuff like that, even if it isn't exactly at the top of my stack. Consider it booked.

Fighting over the placement of prepositional phrases or editing consistencies as the basis over whether a game is fun is so disheartening. I wouldn't care so much but it has sort of infused the culture at large...I just don't remember it being as bad as it seems *now*
