Two in a row! I'm doubly naked!

And here I was hoping all that nakedness was due to you eating breakfast.

I'm not letting my clones fall for that one more than once.

Good Mourning FAWTL. When and what is a blitz, because if it is what I think it is it sounds fun.:)

Run! It is a rabid badger and his clone! Run for your lives!

A blitz is just posting manically for a brief period of time (15 minutes or so). Basically collective stream-of-consciousness stuff that generates as many pages as possible in that short amount of time. It used to break the code, but Gary has supposedly fixed it, thanks to us being inadvertent testers for him.

There's one being scheduled. Master Planner will inform you shortly of the time.

Well, I didn't wash away. In fact, I'm at work. But the town is in a state of emergency and most of the roads are closed. Since the river runs through the middle of town, only one bridge remains open to traffic, being regulated by the police and national guard.

Good to hear you made it through at least you aren't in Truman I saw on the news last night that they got 10+ inches of rain and 90% of the town's properties are flooded. Here is to a quick dry off and no more flooding from the runoff.

Watch out badger's are nasty. I used to go to the Madison, WI zoo where they keep Bucky and watch him attack and rip things apart in his cage.

Hey - another new thread. Huh...

Mornin' All ;)

Morning all.
Paris, happy that you are in a better frame of mind.
Dev! Been a while man! How the hell have you been?!

Kept Kellen home from school today. He was up past 5am with that headache. Poor baby. This morning he seems to be fine, but I want him to be rested.

Busy, busy and busy. Both the good and the 'meh' kind :)

Oh yeah, and like the Postmonster (from the little bit I've read upthread), I got myself some marriage over the Labor Day holiday... (^-^)

But I believe you already took a wee peek at my FB photos.

[Hears thudding sounds all around the thread]

What? I do occasionally update that page. At least once every season or two...

[Gets no response]

Oh for the love of....

[Starts administering oxygen to those who fainted]

Ouch. That's going to throttle your GPA, Woody.

I'm not saying I don't relate; I do. Although that was almost 20 years ago .... I'd have to start all over again if the bug gets me.

like it wasn't in the gutter before. I am planning on going to community college and get a welding diploma. at least i can get work with that and start paying back my student loans.

gotta get going now talk to you all later.

from accounting ... to psychology ... to welding.

Dense Urizen is dense.

Nah...

But seriously, out of the two of us, Doug, you're the smart one.

Dave, you have your talents also, I am just tired of the what I perceive as dumb college students who live their live in textbooks and don't have a sense of the "real world". To quote Star Trek (2009) I want to be the only genius repeat offender in the sector. I would say if I were a pathfinder character my class would be bard, jack of all trades master of none.

There is a college where students LIVE IN THEIR TEXTBOOKS? Tell me of this magical place, and what I must do to get hired there in a tenure track position, forsooth it soundeth wondrous fair!

Informal best of KQ web articles poll

A couple of things I did got mentioned. I'm humbled, amazed, just...I don't know...that a couple pieces I worked on resonated with folks.

The krenshar-pei was the biggest surprise. I can't thank Ambrosia Slaad enough for suggesting it. :)

You'll just have to get used to being awesome.

I complained about it being too hot and too morning. Hot. Morning. UGH.

I think the missus would have a revolt if you're even contemplating a move to teach at Iowa State University.

Nah, suffering has made her desperate. For a good job at this point, she'd probably move just about anywhere.

Meeting previous-job work buddies for lunch, since I'm in town. It'll be nice to see the gang again.

Hey Mairk

Urizen stay out:
Had to butcher a cookies box, but I did get Meph all boxed up and wrapped and ready to go. Unfortunately due to the hurricane my local post office is still without power. I hope to get a day on either Monday or Tuesday when I`m not working 9-5 to send it. Once it`s sent I`ll get you the tracking number.

Send goblin Ninja Assassins instead, way more destructive.

See, I have ways of dealing with these contingencies. I just don't post them on the internet so that people can counter my counters.

You know who needs PIE? Alleynbard, that's who.

It's normal to me, but amongst mere mortals, I understand their skewed perception as they come from a place called fear.

I think multiple, and I mean MULTIPLE viewings of SW&TSD as a child set me up for a lifetime of D&D. And possibly always going for the badass brunette when given the choice.

What the heck is SW&TSD, you cryptic brushpile?

Clawcramps, puffin and badger! And handcramps to everyone else. It's a lovely day here. Ashe, my sister (near Rochester) says that the wind is kicking up whitecaps on all the new lakes/puddles, so maybe you'll dry out quickly.

I note lots of packages being exchanged between the guys here lately. It's nice to see good friends share.

Did everyone get to see SM&PMG's pic? It was to tweet.
