Alright ladies, gentlemen, leaves, zombies, birds and unicorns. I have to disconnect now. I've used up my doctor alloted video/computer time.

Hopefully I'll be back on tomorrow!!

Night all.

So, the Rifftrax show was rained out.

Because it was a live show with a satellite feed to the other movie theaters, the rainstorm that parked itself right over the theater made the satellite feed not work so well. :(

We did get a refund and free passes, so we should be able to see the encore on Tuesday.

Scarab Sages

To quote Lazlo Hollyfeld, "I'm happy and sad for you."

Seriously. I really am not going to read all that. Clean slate.

Hey-lo game players, mouth breathers and erstwhile sex offenders. Feeling a little less prodigal today thanks to Moff and my drow brother from another mother.

Just thought I'd pop in for a moment since it seems we got past the two weeks of the APG release and GenCon server crud where it was so slow to the point of impatience on my behalf.

Now if some of you luddites would get with the social network program... ;-)

Scarab Sages

And, with that, I'm outta here for the night.

In order to maximize my time, I'm going to refrain from choking puppies in pet shops. It's like a vanity nemesis if that makes any sense.

So seeing Ghostbusters at the theater again tonight, makes me remember what a good experience at the movies can be like. Is the movie perfect. Not by a long shot. But it was fun and nice to hear a large group of people laughing at all the same spots. I wish Hollywood would produce entertaining films again.

I say that in such a way to make it known that though the occasional movie is watchable or even good. Many movies these days are good just great.

Maybe it is just me. I was upset enough, sad to say, that Gandalf's sword did not glow in the caverns with the Orcs that it all but ruined a good movie for me. Then I saw the other two movies and saw other things much much worse then such a small thing.

This. God help us. We'll be open and with extra help all the hours of the fair. Extra help meaning there will be five of us in the store instead of four. Thousands of people will be coming through our doors, when most days we get a few dozen. I like the business, but all in three days?

It's like Black Friday for the entire weekend.

I recommend Inception and, to a lesser extent, Scott Pilgrim.

And now I'm going to sleep. I've got to wake up in 5 hours so I can get to work early enough to get back to the apartment early enough to get my son's friend home early enough to go to his marching band practice.
