OK I'm just gonna answer all of them in one Post...

Jeremy I like some CCGs, but not all (although I have collected quite a number in my day.

taig Netrunner is definately in my Top 5 CCGs. Vampire the Eternal Struggle is my favourite though. It is the only one I still play with any frequency (every fortnight on the off week from D&D) and I was the inaugral Australaisian Champion (felt good having my name as the first one on the Trophy) :)

Jeremy & Mairk tha new Minis set ... I wants the Elder Blue Dragon to sit next to my Iconic Blue, it's awesome! Other than that I'm not overly interested.

Everyone I too thought it weird that this Thread simply vanished from the known universe...

Everyone I am off to a job interview in about half an hour. It's only IT Help Desk support for 20 hrs/week, but it gets me away from Subway and back into IT which is good.

Laters all. Have Fun :D

Really? Because for a pessimist to be depressed, it means everything has to be going well for him. He's always thinking everything's going to go wrong, but he's always wrong, so he gets depressed... ;)

My goal of going to grad school has been on hold these past several years since I dropped out of UMich. I was right in your town. Sadly, my abrupt departure burned some bridges, so there's no chance of me going back to your neck of the woods.

Thanks everyone. I thought it went well and the guy doing the interview used to work with one of my references, so hopefully that's a plus as well. Find out early next weeek. :D

OK, caught up on PbPs and watched Fnck Me, Ray Bradbury again (I don't think it's gonna get old in a hurry), so I'm off to bed. I actually don't start work early tomorrow (10am instead of 6am) so I'll get an extra hour and a half(ish) sleep which will be nice since I only had 3 hours last night (went to the movies to see Inception, which by the way is actaully as good as everyone says it is).

Later All. Have Fun :)

RPG Superstar 2012

Yes, Inception was great--my favorite movie of the year so far.

My kids and I saw Scott Pilgrim this past weekend. It was a fun movie, which I recommend. The director did Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, so Scott Pilgrim was rife with visual gags. The girls in the movie were all quite attractive (making me feel like a pervy old man). The only minor negative was Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim. He was a little meh, but not enough to seriously detract from the movie.

You won't have to read the comic series to know what's going on in the movie. It helps for some of the "wink wink" references, but you can follow the movie fine.

Well, Al received a bunch of last minute money that had to be put on contract, which left him scrabbling and unable to attend his young nephews disco revival dance recital. Meanwhile, Rachel finally expressed her desire to have a deep, meaningful relationship with Ray, despite the difference in their ages. And, across town, Mike made assurances that the new software package would.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

The parallel universe thing was fun, and, as far as I know, had no bad side effects!

Gooooooooooooooooooooooood morning FAWLTYHOUSE!

Turns out I was wrong- the boss wasn't in today. I'm still awestruck at how smoothly things go when he's not in the office. Things get done like you wouldn't believe, and one or two of my coworkers are actually HAPPY to be at their desk today. I'd say the best thing about him coming back tomorrow is that I don't have to stare at his mug upon coming in- I'm donating blood downtown, so I don't have to be in the office proper for a few hours.

In other news, I'm addicted to the Tudors. The wife has made a monster out of me, and it doesn't help that we keep encouraging one another to shout at the screen. "Don't trust him! HE'S THE KING!!" And in other OTHER news, I FINALLY put the bike up for sale on Craigslist. I've never used it before, so here's hoping it works! I'm asking 250 for her- enough to cover the balance on the bike save for maybe ten bucks or so, and I'll put in extra myself to pay for the further alterations I want to make. I'm putting larger wheels on her with thinner tires and the disc brakes to accomodate that change. Once I have the Hayaikaze-kai, I'll start getting to work on getting those new glasses I desperately need! I even squeezed out a few paragraphs on ideas I had bouncing around in my head for Freehold! last night- so far, things are looking up. It has me a bit paranoid for the inevitable reversal of fortune, but I'm just going to enjoy the ride for now.

Solnes, what do you need to get your kid for school? And how much of it is ACTUALLY going to be used?

Why, I've grown my hair, and stopped all that "rotting" nonsense, with the help of Gamble & Proctor's new Decay-Me-Not product line, for the discerning zombie.

No more mumbling because your vocal cord have rotted away. No more embarassing appendage loss during social functions. Now, you too, can keep your skin, hair, and internal organs in peak living conditions.

Decay-Me-Not: when looking like death warmed over just isn't an option.
