Timing on Third Printing of Core Rulebook

It's my GF's birthday this weekend and I was planning on getting her a personal copy of the Core Rulebook. Then I realized the third printing notice went out on the fourth where Lisa said it'll be available "in a couple weeks."

Any idea of when the "couple weeks" will start? This close to the line, I'd hate to get her a 2nd printing when I could get her a 3rd.

I take it the PDF version will automatically update soon after?

Does the third printing contain errata updates?

We only have third printing in the warehouse right now. As far as I know, it should have errata updates, though somebody from R&D would know for sure. But that was the intent from what I heard.

Well damn, there goes $100 on new books...

One for me for "standard" use before the cover falls off my GenCon signed edition, and one for the GF's birthday. Hope she enjoys getting a printout of the cover from my PDF though since it's going to take a little longer than her birthday for delivery.

There's a TINY bit of rephrasing stuff, but for the most part it's just fixing small errors. It's absolutely not a full reworking of the game; it's just a reprint, and for most players the differences between the 1st and the 2nd and the 3rd printing will be invisible.

We ARE working to get the PDF updated as well. It's a relatively complicated process, but hopefully we'll have something soon to show for the work.
