Does a dwarf vs a tripping giant get +8 to his cmd against the manuver?

They get +4 dodge AC against giants: Defensive
+4 CMD vs trips: Stability

By RAW I see nothing to the contrary. Dodge bonuses add to your CMD, and they get a separate bonus against tripping that are of stacking types. It makes sense as dwarves are basically designed to fight Giants.

If you have Imp trip as a dwarf, there is an extra +2 to be had as well.
