I know there have been post for veriant races for pathfinder, and to start I didn't really feel the need for it. But the more I play I feel limited by the races of Pathfinder. With only 7 races and 3 of them bearing the same +2 to any one stat, I feel like there are limited options.
Example: I want to create a Melee character. So I don't want a small character for STR reasons and the small weapons. If I wanted +2 to two different stats the only choises I have are Dwarf and Elf, just feels limited. While I dont really need more race, I think alot of people would really enjoy them.
So I have two questions:
Does Paizo intend to develop more races for Pathfinder?
And can anyone give me a web link for some more races i might be able to convert over to Pathfinder? (I dont own anything 3.5, I did/do have a bit of stuff from 3.0, hence the web request)

That "same +2 to any one stat" can be whatever you want it to be. That's huge flexibility right there.
Plus, there's way more than one way to play each race (except dwarf. They're all the same). And even if you're only looking for "builds" that are properly "min/maxed", you have plenty of options.
Always remember that there is way more to a roleplaying game character than some stats.
Example: I want to create a Melee character. So I don't want a small character for STR reasons and the small weapons.
That only goes for min/maxed characters. Actually, it goes for min/maxed characters for players who don't like a challenge.

So what makes those +2/+2/-2 so important? It sounds like you don't want more races - you just want more stats. Talk to your GM about introducing specialised +2/+2/-2 sets for ethnic groups (shoanti get +2 str, +2 wis, -2 int; varisians gain +2 dex, +2 cha, -2 wis; and so on)
Does Paizo intend to develop more races for Pathfinder?
Doesn't sound like it.

The Bestiary offers;
.
.
.
.
Aasimar,
Drow,
Duergar,
Goblin,
Hobgoblin,
Kobold,
Merfolk,
Orc,
Svirfneblin,
Tengu,
Tiefling
(and Classic Monsters revisted offers up two variant Goblin types and five variant Kobolds)
Pathfinder Companion: Qadira has the Suli (a kind of half-Jann that makes an even better Paladin than an Aasimar).
The Campaign Setting has rules for the Gillmen (aquatic Azlanti).
I'm sure there are more out there that I'm missing.
The Duergar, Hobgoblin, Orc, Tengu and Suli could make interesting fighter options.
A sample homebrew conversion of the Spellscale/Dragonborn/Mojh concept, the Scaleborn of Thassilon.

Does Paizo intend to develop more races for Pathfinder?
Yes, but not in a book that is geared only toward players anytime soon.
As Set lists, threre are actually quite a few monsters in the Bestiary that are 0-HD races that are VERY appropriate for player characters; Chapter 12 of the PFRPG breaks down those raeces into two categories: Ones that work almost perfect alongside the base races, and ones that are a hair more powerful but should still work fine with a mixed party. These races need no additional work to serve as PC races.
Bestiary 2 will provide more 0HD races along these lines.
SOME day, I suspect we'll tackle Monstrous PCs as a bigger book, but that won't be this year. And probably not next year.

He is just jealous because elves at their most manly look like Justin Bieber, and have the same level of street cred.
Where as Dwarves are the ZZtop of the fantasy world, not necessarily for everybody but they have an undeniable level of cool.

He is the latest variant in a long line of clones - all adjusted to look a little different. Essentially all part of an evil plot to rule the world. It wouldn't surprise me if KaeYoss was part of the conspiracy. I will list the clones for you - (strangely when translated into ancient Chaldean the names all correspond with the Demon Lords of the Abyss).
The Osmonds, Hanson, NKOTB, Take That, East 17, Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync

Nothing to do with elves, everything to do with the fact that Paizo still didn't fix that one glaring error. The books should read.
Dwarf: Medium vermin.

Must be the same "cool" that makes insecure brats start to smoke.

Pffd. Those amateurs.
I'm part of the conspiracy that took over the world a couple of millennia ago.

I can hear the yapping of the culturally vapid, back to your interpretative dance studio and practice your elven boyband dance moves, until you have something worthwhile to say.
