Bumper Stickers

Pathfinder Society

Scarab Sages 3/5

Has Paizo ever thought about making a bumper sticker advertising Pathfinder Society? Maybe something advertising that we are GMs/DMs and that they can contact us if they want to play. Just a thought.

Thought about it, but things like bumper stickers, shirts, posters, etc. don't sell well at all and we rarely make our money back on them. There are a number of changes coming to improve the Society and I'd rather focus on those sorts of things and grow the Society organically through a quality reputation than worry overmuch about advertising. :-)

I'd love to have a Taldor faction sticker on my car, though. That would be cool.

Go here and have them made the way you want them.

Do we, as people who love the product and purchase what merchandise you sell, have permission to use your copyrighted stuff (faction symbols, etc) on personally created things, lets make it clear:

NOTHING TO BE SOLD - JUST PERSONAL USE

.. if that is a yes, then I just might have to start searching and designing a couple of things for my PFS stuff :) (I am thinking t-shirt and bumper sticker :)

cause if not, I dont want to be embarresed at a Con and have someone say you cant have that...

I'm trying to imagine a bumper sticker with the following written in teeny, tiny letters:

"This [website, character sheet, or whatever it is] uses trademarks and/or copyrights owned by Paizo Publishing, LLC, which are used under Paizo's Community Use Policy. We are expressly prohibited from charging you to use or access this content. This [website, character sheet, or whatever it is] is not published, endorsed, or specifically approved by Paizo Publishing. I think I'm going to need a bigger bumper. :-)

Hmm...I wonder what I should have Calvin peeing on...

i want a bumper sticker of Merisiel lounging on a beach like a pin up girl... though... community use prohibits such things. ::sigh of sadness::

probably a safe bet if your bumper sticker sez, "Show me how you cast Tongues", lol...

or "A village has lost its idiot and he is casting Magic Missile into the darkness..."

Personality-wise I think Valeros would be more likely to pose like that =P

Agreed, Merisiel is a classy girl, I think you are more likely to get a picture of her sitting indian style in a public bath (Bleach fans will know what I am talking about).

And since this thread has already been subjected to grad A necromancy...

I just lost several rather dear higher quality ball point pens (or biros) at the last convention, and I wanted to ask if Paizo would consider selling us some.

If you order them in adequate numbers they are quite cheap, and it wouldn't mind losing them quite as much. Of course I could just order some that said "Pathfinder Society Germany, if you can read this, you are most likely in Germany ...." quite possibly with a slightly less stupid joke ^^

I'd personally love two- or three-inch square stickers of the new Faction logos.

Each of my characters has a manilla folder that's begging for some pizzazz!

You really should not - intentionally - put pizza on your folder... it will happen naturally in the course of time, just like melted wax, burned coal, a mix of difficult to define drinks, and well, let's just say alcohol (and yes my characters have experienced all of those)

Actually some cloth faction symbols would be a sweet addition to my gaming bags, I had the Gencon Paizo pins on there, but they don't last.

Does "pizzazz" have no German translation?

Ooo! Fancy!

I assume that confirming a critical hit with a pen (rather than a sword) and experiencing the Death of a Salesman is part of the class feature?

Actually, the fun part is the 20th level capstone ability, the Death of a Thousand Paper Cuts.

No, there is certainly one, I was just being silly. It would translate as something like Elan, Schwung or Pep.... and even those don't really do it justice.

"Elan"?

I wonder if that's how the Bard character from Order of the Stick was named.

Quite likely, since "Elan" translates back into English as panache, vim or vigor (among other words, many of them with French originin)... just like Terry Pratchett named on of his characters Sam Vimes.

No, silly. He was named by spelling "Nale" backwards.

Now I want a bumper sticker that says "Have you hugged your Spawn of Rovagug today?"
