Keeping the borrowed Javalin, Harn secures everything to his person as he scales the wall to the roof. Once on the roof, he will carefully work his way over to the hole, switching for his axe once he reaches the hole to take out anything that appears from the hole.

Climb up wall to roof and move over to the hole. Then will ready an action to attack anything that comes through the hole.

Watching Harn and AAremeth take their turn climbing up, Trevor makes sure he's ready to break their fall if the unsafe wall let's go of them.
Once Harn is up, he whisper to AAremeth as he hands him the rope Harn brought up: "Don't forget, I'll kick the door open when I hear that familiar boom... Or if you yell of course." His smile is reassuring.

It is a combo of avoiding loose shingles, slipping on said shingle, and avoiding weak spots when you feel them as you move across the roof. A 16 passes no problem, but you will have to make one in any round you move on the roof. I am not going to require one for staying in the same square even if you are "moving" around in it. max move of 30' a round on roof though.

Trevor goes nervous as he waits by the door. The seconds seem to stretch as the wait becomes more and more excruciatingly unbearable. He whispers: "Guys? Is everything ok up there?"
He listens, trying to make some sense of the dark...

Trevor you kick open the door light enters to show Pews of Darkwood lie tipped over and covered in dust on either side of an ancient shrine. A powerful Dwarf with hammer in hand working a forge. The noble dwarf defaced with chiseled runes. At the far end sits a large ceramonial anvil, but it too shows signs of being defaced and ruined. An eerie silance lays in this shadowy shrine. on the southern wall a bookcase stands covered in dust.

It takes a second for Trevor to relax a bit as he realizes the room is empty. He frowns, upset at finding a desecrated temple. Noticing an opening in one of the walls, he motions to the others to follow him. "Harn, stay alert, there is another room. We're going to move in and find out."
"Who's got a light source? Can I borrow it."
He follows the wall up to the opening, then takes a peek, using the wall as cover. If he doesn't see anything, he'll use the light source.

Two black tentacled forms drop from the shadows of the roof. two spheres of darkness fall one over Trevor the other over AAremeth. The rest of the room seems dimmer as the inky darkness emanates through the room.
Trevor feels a tentacle wrap around his body. He takes 6 points of damage.
AAremeth to feels a tight grip of a tentacle in the darkness wrap around him. Taking 7 points of damage
both of you are grappled and being constricted you are in the darkness. may either make a CMB to escape the grapple, or make an attack with the weapon in hand at the tentacle with a concealment chance of missing.

Completely taken by surprise, Trevor lets out a grunt as the tentacle tightens its grip. Unable to see through the darkness, he'll yell: "Cast those shadows away!".
He'll then suddenly clam himself down, whispering: "Iomedae heals and strikes." as he uses his power to heal and tries to get out of the darkness' grip.

Hearing commotion from below, Harn tries to peer down to see what was going on. Noting the inky darkness which had sprung into existence Harn becomes undecided if he should stay where he was or leap down into the pitch darkness to help his comrades.
The creature around AAremeth recoils flying back up to the roof into the shadows.

Now that he's been squeezed, enlarged and greased, Trevor just wants to put an end to this. "WHAT - KIND - OF - THING - aryou!!!" and lets his huge axe crash down on the creature.

An eagle with feathers that look like long, thin leaves, in a riot of autumnal yellow, orange and red, appears in mid-flight, as if it soared straight out of his space, coalescing into solidity in midair, next to the flying squid-creature that just abandoned it's attack on Aaremeth. Apparently unconcerned with the shadowy visibility, it attacks with a flurry of flapping wings, raking talons and snapping beak.
